One note on the schedule. Varsity baseball will be at Bryant Field today, not BHS. Softball will still be at BHS.

Baseball/Softball Time Change

The start time for today's baseball and softball games vs Newfound is now 4 p.m. With rain in the forecast for tonight, we wanted to start a bit earlier to avoid the chance of rain impacting  the games.

BHS Principal and Associate Principal Positions

Good Afternoon Shaker Regional Families and Staff,

Please be advised that we will be hiring for both the principal and associate principal position at Belmont High School for the 2019-2020 school year. Mr. Tebo is taking the next step in his career by assuming the principal position at Somersworth High School. This move puts Mr. Tebo closer to his family in the seacoast area. Mr. Williams is also moving to be closer to family. He's been offered a middle school principal position out-of-state.  I commend Mr. Tebo and Mr. Williams for their leadership over the past three years. Together with the BHS staff, they have moved the school in a positive direction and have laid the groundwork for teaching and learning in a competency-based system. 

My plan is to involve a wide variety of stakeholders during the principal search process. I will keep you posted as we move forward with filling the position.

Progress Reports now available on Web2school

Semester 2 progress reports are now available for viewing on Web2School.   The grades on the progress report are being used to determine athletic eligibility, senior privilege eligibility and are being sent to colleges for seniors, upon request.

School Wide Easter Egg Hunt

Girls Lacrosse: Important

Good afternoon,

One important note for today's girls lacrosse game. The game will not be held at Trinity High School. Trinity uses Rock Rimmon Fields on Moore St. for their lacrosse games. See the picture below for a location of the fields, which can easily be confused in a GPS with Rock Rimmon Park.

Baseball/ Softball Postponed

Good Afternoon Parents,

We have yet again another spring sports postponement. Today's varsity baseball and softball games vs Laconia have been postponed. Our infield surfaces are still too muddy to prepare for games today due to frost levels and cold temperatures at night. The games will be moved to Saturday, April 13 as part of a season-opening doubleheader for both teams. To help keep track with all of the changes, the schedule for the rest of the week is as follows:

1. Varsity Girls Lacross vs Gilford has been postponed until Thursday, 4/18.
2. Varsity Baseball will play 2 games on Saturday: 11 a.m. vs Fall Mountain and 2:00 p.m. vs Berlin HS, both at Bryant Field
3. Varsity Softball will play 2 games on Saturday: 11 a.m. vs Fall Mountain and 2:00 p.m. vs Berlin HS, both at BHS
4. Varsity Track is hosting its opening meet on Saturday at 10 a.m. at BHS.
5. JV Baseball vs Berlin has been postponed to May 4. The team will play a doubleheader, with two 5 inning games.

Athletics for 4/10

Good Morning,

Today's baseball and softball games vs Fall Mountain have been postponed until tomorrow, 4/11/19. The hope is to play softball at the high school and baseball at Bryant. A decision on field conditions for those games will be made tomorrow morning.

JV baseball at Fall Mountain has been postponed, and a makeup date is still to be determined.

Tomorrow's varsity Lacrosse game is also postponed with a makeup date TBD due to poor field conditions on both the upper and lower fields.

Athletics Today

Good Morning,

Today's baseball and softball games against Bishop Brady have been postponed due to weather. There is no reschedule date at this time. Those teams will all have practice instead at the following times:

Softball will practice from 2:30- 4:00  

Varsity Baseball will practice from 4-5:30.

JV Baseball will practice from 5:30-7:00

Changes to the schedule will be posted online on our athletics website as soon as the new day is announced
