BES Principal Position

Good afternoon Shaker Regional Families and Staff,
As many of you know and some may not, Sheila Arnold has recently announced that she will be leaving her position as principal of Belmont Elementary School.  In order to fill her position in the immediate future, I proposed to the school board last evening that they hire Mr. Ben Hill as the Interim Principal for the 2017-2018 school year, to hire an assistant principal to fill Mr. Hill's current position, and to conduct a full principal search during the late fall season. The Board approved my proposal during last night's meeting.
We look forward to working with Mr. Hill in his new role as Interim Principal and wish Ms. Arnold best of luck in her future endeavors.
Thank you.
Michael
