YEARBROOK

 

Yearbooks: You can still PRE-ORDER YEARBOOKS through THIS FRIDAY, 6/2! After that, it's first come, first served. See Mrs. Hamilton in Room 210 or stop by the main office to pick up an order form. You can also order online at jostens.com! Get 'em while you can!

 

June 16th - last school day for students 

 

 In need of 4 students for Class Night on Friday, June 9th from 5:20-6:00pm to hand out programs.

I also need 6-8 students to hand out programs at Graduation on Saturday, June 10th from 2-3pm.

If you can help at either of these events see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance ASAP!! These hours can count towards community service 

 

 

BHS Graduation will take place at Meadowbrook on Saturday, June 10th at 3PM!!

Class Night for seniors and families will take place on Friday, June 9th at BHS at 6PM

 

 

 

SHAKER CLOSET

The Shaker Closet is having a food drive starting Tuesday, May 23rd and running until Friday, June 2nd. Please see attached flyer for more information. Thank you. Ms. Lavallee

Girls: Sana Syed -  100m Hurdles, Alice Riley - 3200m; 4x800m Relay (Alexus Day, Emma Chase, Jessica Hutchinson, Jasmine Syed)

Boys: Eli Allman - 110m Hurdles, Ian Remenar - 300m Hurdles, Hunter Dupuis - 200m, Nick Randos - 1600m, Adam Sojka - Triple Jump,

         4x100m Relay (River Mathieu, Marc Forgione, Hunter Dupuis, Eli Allman), 
         4x400m Relay (Adam Sojka, Hunter Dupuis,Nolan Gagnon, Ian Remenar)

Named to the Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-State Team were Alice Riley, Eli Allman, the boys' 4x400m Relay Team (Adam Sojka, Hunter Dupuis, Nolan Gagnon, Ian Remenar), and the girls' 4x800m Relay Team (Alexus Day, Emma Chase, Jessica Hutchinson, Jasmine Syed)

 

Cross-Country Preseason Organizational meeting Wednesday June 7th during Power Hour.  Room 107.  We will discuss summer training and the season schedule.  If you're interested and can't attend, see Mr. Hayward! 

 

There will be a Boys Soccer Meeting on Wednesday June 7th at 2:30 in Mr. Foley's room to discuss summer plans.

 

 

 

 

 

BASEBALL NEWS

Over the weekend the New Hampshire High School Baseball Coaches Association held their annual "All State" meeting and we had several players recognized from our program.

 

Earning First Team honors were Cole Contigiani and Corey Derosier.

Jonny LeClair was named to second team.

Cam Magerer was named as a third team all state selection.

 

Cole Contigiani was named the Division III NH Player of the Year! This is a huge honor and a testament to his hard work. This is the first time that Belmont has had an outright Player of the Year winner, Andy Wardwell was a Co-Player of the year in 2005.

 

We are scheduled to play Saturday, 6/3, at 4:00pm on our field against the winner of # 7 Mascenic and #10 Berlin. We would love to see people there and could certainly use the support! The link to the tournament bracket:

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.  Any student interested in running for class office should submit a paragraph of intent to their respective class advisers by Friday, June 2nd.  School-wide elections will be held during Power Hour on Tuesday, June 6th.  Available positions for each class are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.  Class Officers work as a team to organize fundraising activities and other class events.  Class Officers are expected to take initiative, collaborate, and communicate regularly with the other officers, the faculty class advisers, and the members of the entire class.

Class of 2020 - Ms.Tardugno and Mr. Takantjas

Class of 2019 - Mrs. Hampton and Mrs. Hamilton

Class of 2018 - Mrs. Lavallee and Mrs. Beauchesne

 

 

SENIORS
2017 Graduates:

Please save any files from your network drive that you wish to keep. All class of 2017 network drives will be permanently deleted after June 30, 2017.

 

2017 Graduates:

Just a reminder that your school Google account will remain active until June 12, 2017.  Your account will be deleted on September 1, 2017

 

You can download your Google account content with Google Takeout on your home computer.

 

Login with your school account, check off the list of content you want and Google will email you a download link when its ready.

Tuesday May 30 in the band room during Power Hour for the seniors' Diploma of Distinction presentations! 

Seven seniors will present their projects!

We want to share with the world the great projects and hard work we have done to earn the BHS Diploma of Distinction!

If you are an underclassman and considering the Diploma of Distinction option, this is a MUST SEE event!

School-to-Career Opportunities

·         Are you interested in a career in Information Technology (IT)?  If so, you are invited to attend the next CAREER Power Hour session with Mainstay Technologies to discuss this career pathway.  The session will take place in the School Guidance Counseling Office on JUNE 6th from 10:20am - 11:20am with a FREE catered lunch!  Please see Mrs. Burke for information and to sign up for the lunch.

Through Laconia Parks and Rec we are hosting a small lacrosse camp the week of June 19-22, only $50.

 

Our staff is all US Lacrosse Certified with a variety of coaching experience, from elementary, high school and college championship levels.
