Dear Parents/Guardians,
-- As many of you are aware there has been a call for a 17-minute national student walkout on Wed, March 14tth at 10 a.m.. This marks the one-month anniversary of the tragic school shooting that took place in Parkland, Florida.
Although Belmont High School is not sanctioning the walkout or any other political demonstration, we plan to take measures to provide for the safety and well-being of our students should they choose to participate. Students will not be disciplined for peaceful and safe participation and we will ensure that students who are not interested in participating are not pressured to do so.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Thank you and have a great weekend,
- Dave
