End of Year and Last Day of School

Dear Shaker Regional Families,

The last day of school for students will be June 22nd.  In order to make up a few of the snow days, we are implementing the following:

1. Extending the school day by 20 minutes starting May 1st and ending on May 24th. This is similar to last year.
2. Changing the teacher workshop day that was planned for May 11th to a regular school day.
3. Waiving one student day because we meet the instructional hour requirement as established by the NH Department of Education.

Graduation for our seniors will be on June 17th. BHS will send out additional details.

The last day for staff will be June 26th.

In summary, for students:

May 1st - 24th - school day is extended by 20 minutes. Dismissal will be 20 minutes after regularly scheduled time;
May 11th - regular school day for students;
June 17th - BHS senior graduation;
June 22nd - last school day for students. This is a half-day. Please plan on an early release.

Thank you for your patience as we worked to finalized the end of the year.

Respectfully,

Michael
