Congratulations to Liz Sweeney on her acceptance to Lakes Region Community College and  to Andrew Mozier on his acceptance to the University of Vermont


Athletics:

Girls Basketball:

Tryouts for girls basketball will be today, tomorrow and Wednesday November 20th from 3pm to 6pm. 

 

Boys Basketball:

Open gym Wednesday Nov. 20th & Friday Nov. 22nd from 7:00-8:30pm

 

Boys Basketball tryouts on Monday November 25, Tuesday November 26 & Wednesday Nov. 27th from 6:00-9:00PM.

 

Nordic Ski Team:

Meeting for anyone interested at 3:45 in the cafeteria today.


 Varsity and JV Volleyball Teams (and their families) will be having a pot luck dinner tonight  @  6 p.m. in the BHS Cafeteria to receive their individual certificates and Coach's Awards.  Please contact Coach Derosia to let her know if you are coming and what you will bring to share.


Ski Team:

Anyone interested in Girls or Boys Alpine Skiing please meet in Rm. 111 during break today.  Very important information will be discussed and distributed, please attend.


PTO:

For all students - College Night: Scholarships and Course Offerings to Prepare You for College tomorrow night  from 6:30-8:00PM. Please join the BHS PTO and the BHS Guidance Department for our "Are you ready for College" night. This session will focus on Scholarship Applications, Running Start Courses and NH Scholar program. Sessions will run approximately 35 minutes including Q&A. Join us for one session or for all but do not miss out! The PTO will have warm dinner items to purchase during this night. Please see attached agenda.

 

The BHS PTO will hold their next meeting on Thursday, Nov. 21st.  Please see the attached Agenda.  We welcome anyone who would like to join us and we are always looking for ideas, suggestions and input.  If you have any questions, please contact Donna Iacopucci at donnaike@metrocast.net.

 

 

Guidance Office:

Thursday is the final day that grades need to be changed for all students who had incompletes on their report cards. Students please be sure to see your teacher with any questions.

 

On Thursday Nov 21st,  Ms. Cascio and Ms Seiferth will hold an after school workshop for students in grades 9-11 who are interesting in learning more about the college selection process. We will meet in the Computer Lab from 2:30-3:30. Please sign up in the Guidance office if you are interested in attending.

Clubs:

Student Council:

1.       Meets tomorrow @ 2:15 in Rm 216.

 

 

2.  Is going to be sponsoring a child this year for Operation Santa Claus. We are raising money to buy necessities and also gifts for a child in need in our area. To help to convince you all to donate to this cause, we will be hosting a Stop the Music event next week.  Beginning today , we will play the same song over and over during every break and between classes.  We will stop playing the song as soon as we reach $200. Please bring your money to the main office if you would like to stop the music!! Even when $200 has been raised you can still donate money towards the cause! If we collect more than $200, we may be able to sponsor more children!

FBLA:

Can tabs for David's House can be turned in to any FBLA member or Mr. Hill.  Thank you! We will be collecting tabs all year long.

 

Spanish Club:

 Do you need a gift idea?  M&M, Toasted Coconut and Mocha Java Cookie Mixes $5 and BHS water bottles $7.  Contact a member or email shampton@sau80.org

 

National Honor Society:

 NHS will be collecting Pennies for Patients to help Leukemia & Lymphoma sufferers.  Please consider donating spare change to this research.  Look for students in costumes and boxes around the school.
