Homework Club will be relocated to the computer lab today.

 

Athletics:

Boys Basketball:

Open gym tomorrow from 7:00-8:30pm

 

Boys Basketball tryouts on Monday November 25, Tuesday November 26 & Wednesday Nov. 27th from 6:00-9:00PM.

 

Indoor Track:

All required paperwork for the indoor track team must be turned in to Mr. Hayward in room 107 before the first day of practice on Monday, December 2. Any questions or concerns, contact Mr. Goegel at jgoegel@sau80.org. NO FORMS, NO PRACTICE!!

 

* Any female student interested in playing softball in the spring, please meet in the main lobby at break today.

 

Holiday Day Specialty Showcase:

Can you sing, dance, play an instrument, act, perform stand up comedy? Would you like to participate in our holiday show assembly. If so… auditions will be held after school Dec 10th – 12th in Rm 216. There is a sign up sheet located outside Rm 216.

 

Guidance Office:

Today is the final day that grades need to be changed for all students who had incompletes on their report cards. Students please be sure to see your teacher with any questions.

 

Today, Ms. Cascio and Ms Seiferth will hold an after school workshop for students in grades 9-11 who are interesting in learning more about the college selection process. We will meet in the Computer Lab from 2:30-3:30. Please sign up in the Guidance office if you are interested in attending.

 

Financial Aid Night:

Will be held on Wednesday, Dec 4th in the BHS caf starting at 6:30PM. This is open to all seniors, juniors and their parents.

 

Christmas Cabaret:

Please join members of the music department and BHS faculty and staff for our first annual Holiday Cabaret!  On December 5th at 6:30 pm, the BHS/BMS Band members will be hosting a holiday musical showcase in the BHS Cafeteria.  Holiday treats will be served and there will be raffle items to enter to win!  Tickets are $5.00 at the door, and any audience member that brings in a batch of holiday cookies will receive a free raffle ticket for our wonderful prizes!  We hope to see you there!

 

BHS PTO:

The BHS PTO will hold their meeting to night. Please see the attached Agenda.  We welcome anyone who would like to join us and we are always looking for ideas, suggestions and input.  If you have any questions, please contact Donna Iacopucci at donnaike@metrocast.net.

 

Clubs:

Student Council:

  Will be  sponsoring a child this year for Operation Santa Claus. We are raising money to buy necessities and also gifts for a child in need in our area. To help to convince you all to donate to this cause, we will be hosting a Stop the Music event this week. If you would like to request a song, please come to the main office and sign the form (along with your donation, of course) We will be playing the music during every break and between classes.  We will continue to play music until our goal of $200 is reached. Even when $200 has been raised you can still donate money towards the cause! If we collect more than $200, we may be able to sponsor more children!


FBLA:

1. Our next four meetings will be at 2:20pm in Mr. Hill's room on the following dates: today ,  Wednesday, December 4th, Thursday, December 12th, and Wednesday, December 19th(Holiday Celebration).

 

2. Can tabs for David's House can be turned in to any FBLA member or Mr. Hill.  Thank you! We will be collecting tabs all year long.

 

Spanish Club:

  1. Meeting today from 2:15-3:15PM in Rm 105.
  2. Do you need a gift idea?  M&M, Toasted Coconut and Mocha Java Cookie Mixes $5 and BHS water bottles $7.  Contact a member or email shampton@sau80.org
