DRAMABHS Drama is conducting a costume drive for our musical, Cats! We need donations of fur, textured knits, leg warmers, knit scarves, & gloves: all in semi realistic cat colors! We take pieces large and small. Also, Halloween/ realistic wigs, no matter how scruffy! We are looking in particular for a very large black fur coat and a textured gray one. I can collect! Keep in mind that these will be used in a show so we would prefer things that wouldn't need to be returned/ that can be altered, painted or sewn. Thanks! Spread the word! PS: If anyone owns jazz shoes you're no longer using, we will gladly accept the donation!!

Drama Rehearsal is TODAY in the cafeteria at 2:45 p.m.

Student Council:

Attention Block 5 Teachers!

Student council is putting on a nonperishable canned food drive competition that will be running until Friday November 20th. All food will be donated to a local food pantry for families in need this Holiday season. The class at the end of this competition who gathers the most amount of food will win a pizza party for their 5th block class. This class may also substitute the party and choose to donate the amount of money that would have been spent on pizza to the food pantry in the spirit of giving.

Also if you have a small class don't fret! To keep it fair we will take the points you earn and divide it by the number of students in your block 5 class. By doing this everyone should get a fair shake at winning!  Faculty are encouraged to donate as well.  If you don't have a 5th block class, please still promote the drive to your classes and get your students to participate.  We would like to make a BIG contribution to help people out this Thanksgiving.

Points break down per item:

Ramen Noodles (etc.) or any can/box below 10 oz = 1/2 point

10-15oz non-perishable canned good = 1 point

15-20oz non-perishable canned good = 2 points

20 oz + non-perishable canned good = 3 points

Class positioning will be posted on the Student council bulletin board near the Gym!
