HERE'S WHAT'S NEW:
Students: Want a chance to go to California's Yosemite National Park next year? Earth, Ecological and Environmental Stewardship class is a hands-on, outside, collecting data, STEM based course. Mr. Deshaies and Ms. Deuell are looking for students to sign up for their class. Students enrolled in the class have the opportunity to go to California, as well as many local field trips in NH. Please go to guidance and sign up now!! (Please note you need a passing grade in biology to enroll).
Students: Applications for summer school recovery are available in guidance. Please stop in and pick one up if you are planning on attending.
Raffle: Raffle tickets for a $250 gift basket are currently being sold from now until Thursday, April 21st. There are over $100 in gift cards to Concord businesses as well as a myriad of different confectionary goodies. Prices are $2 for 1 ticket, $5 for 3 tickets and $10 for 6 tickets. All proceeds go to Michael Sanborn's Diploma of Distinction project raising money for the Farnum Center North in Franklin, NH for their substance abuse program.
Seis De Mayo Dance: The Seis De Mayo dance will be held Friday, May 6th in the cafeteria from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5 and food and drinks will be available to purchase.
Attention Juniors and Seniors: This year's prom is being held at the Inn on Newfound Lake on Saturday, May 21st from 6pm-11pm. Tickets will be on sale during the week of April 18 through April 22. They will be sold during Power Hour in the lobby for $50 each. Payment may be made in cash or checks made out to Belmont High School. Guest permission slips will be available at the time of ticket purchase for anyone bringing a guest that does not currently attend Belmont High School.

Faith Hope and Love Foundation: Please see the attached flier for The Faith, Hope and Love Foundation's 10th Annual Gowns for Girls and Ties for Guy's Event. FHL will be giving out free formal wear to all young men and women looking to attend prom on Saturday April 16th from 1-4pm.

Cool Schools: Only 2 more weeks for Steeplegate receipts. We are only .01/student behind for points. The new Hatbox Theater and the Bounce House/Laser Tag will be triple points during vacation week. Help us earn more money for BHS. Receipts may be turned in through the first week of May.

GRANITE STATE GAMES TRYOUTS:
Coming this June the multi-sport competitive Granite State games for New Hampshire athletes. These games are a great opportunity to get extra training, work/meet different coaches, and get seen in front of college scouts and most of all to have fun! All events are open to incoming freshman (8th graders) – juniors (graduating 2017).
