Parents: Last day of school for freshman, sophomore & juniors is June 14th with a dismissal time of 12:00pm.

 

Senior Class Meeting tomorrow Wednesday June 1st in the Gym, second half of power hour

 

Seniors:  Please clear out your lockers by June 3rd anything left behind in lockers will thrown out. 

 

Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors please clear out your lockers by June 10th.

Message from Mr. Russell:

Seniors: All materials are due back on Wednesday, June 1st.

Underclassmen: All materials are due back on Thursday, June 9th.

 

2016 Graduates:

Please save any files from your network drive that you wish to keep. All class of 2016 network drives will be permanently deleted after July 31st 2016.

2016 Graduates:

Just a reminder that your school Google account will remain active until October 1, 2016.  

 

You can download your Google account content with Google Takeout.

YEARBOOKS:

Yearbooks are selling out! Order yours today! See Mrs. Hamilton in Room 210 with $47 (checks made out to BHS), or order online at Jostens.com!

 

EEES: Students interested in going to Yosemite National Park need to have a non-refundable deposit in by June 1st.  Students and parents can direct questions to Adrien Deshaies or Sarah Deuell.

 

 

 

 

 

BHS Drama: BHS Drama presents A Midsummer's Night's Dream on June 2nd through June 4th. Performances will be June 2nd and June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. and June 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Belmont High School. The cost for the event is $5 for students and seniors and $7 for adults. Please see the attached flyer.

 

The 2016 fall drama production is going to be a series of one-act, student directed plays!  You will have an opportunity to choose one of David Ives' short play collection, All in the Timing.  Any students interested in directing in the fall should come and see Ms. Pitrone in room 214 to get an application.  These applications are due no later than Wednesday, June 8th.

Student Council:

The Student Council Leadership Team has three openings to fill.  There is also an opening for the BHS student body / school board liaison.  If you are a BHS freshman, sophomore, or junior this year and you would like to serve next year, you may pick up an application packet from the guidance office, Mr. Cilley (room 113) or Mr. McDonald (room 114).  Applications and references are due by next Thursday

(June 2).

Sports awards night Wednesday June 1st.  6:00-8:00pm

 

Fall Cross-Country:

Athletes Interested in Fall Cross-Country, we will have a pre-season meeting in room 107, Wednesday June 1st, during Power Hour.  If you can't make the meeting, see Mr. Hayward.  We will distribute all necessary paperwork at that time.

 

Students: Applications for summer school recovery are available in guidance. Please stop in and pick one up if you are planning on attending.

GUIDANCE NEWS

 

Mrs. O'Connell needs student volunteers to hand out programs for class night and graduation. If you are able to help, please see her in guidance. Your hours would count as community service.

 

1. Bishop Brady High School is offering a summer SAT prep program. July 11-28, Monday thru Thursday, no Friday classes. Morning session 9am-noon, evening session 5:30-8:30pm at Bishop Brady High School. Cost is $375.00 which includes all materials and refreshments during break. Student should select either morning or evening session. Checks payable to Bishop Brady High School with registration form. Registration forms are available in the guidance office. Course will include a full length practice test and a review session to be held at 4pm on Sept. 18th prior to fall test dates. Space is limited!! Registration and payment are due byJune 22nd. 

 

2.  The Shaker Regional Custodial department is hiring summer help for housekeeping and grounds. You must be at least 16 years old for housekeeping and 18 years old for grounds keeping. People needed in all four of our schools.  See Mrs. O'Connell for an application.
