May 1st - 24th - school day is extended by 20 minutes. Dismissal will be 20 minutes after regularly scheduled time.

May 12th - regular school day for students

June 16th - last school day for students 

 

 

BHS Graduation will take place at Meadowbrook on Saturday, June 10th at 3PM!!

Class Night for seniors and families will take place on Friday, June 9th at BHS at 6PM

Parents and Seniors,

Please see the attached order form for Class of 2017 Senior shirts.  All students may place an order for a FREE T-shirt or a credit towards a hoodie.  Order forms MUST be completed for free shirts as we will need to know what size to order.

All students must also proof and approve their name to be printed on the shirts so that there are no errors.  Corrections may be marked on the front of the order form.  Familiar names may be substituted for formal names if marked in the correction section. (ie:  Mike instead of Michael, Rob instead of Robert, etc.)

Please note the deadline of Friday, May 12th for all orders and payments.

Belmont High School Team Omega Advances to Destination Imagination's Global Finals - the largest celebration of creativity in the world.  Team Omega has earned a spot at the Global competition and will be heading to Tennessee on May 23.  We are fundraising to help with the expenses of travel, lodging and competition costs.  Please support the team with the following fundraising:

·     Spring cleaning clothing drive to be held the weekend of May 12 in Canterbury near the town hall.  Residents from Canterbury, Belmont or other towns can drop off clothing on:  Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm., Saturday from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, Sunday from 8:00-11:00 am.  For other times, please contact Heidi Chaney at 765-200-0394 for a drop off.  Items must in a plastic bag (no lawn bags).   Clothing items:  Tops (T-shirts, blouses, shirts, tank tops), Sweaters, Sweatshirts, Dresses, Outerwear (coats, jackets, blazers), Bottoms (pants, slacks, jeans, sweatpants, skirts, shorts), Suits, Socks, Pajamas, Slips, Bras, Underwear.  Household linens:  Sheets, blankets, Towels, Curtains/Drapes, Aprons, Dish cloths, Cloth napkins, Table linens, Comforters, Throw rugs, Placemats.  Items not allowed:  Non-textiles, Wet and oil-soaked textiles, Contaminated textiles, Rugs and carpeting, Pillows, Mattresses, Furniture.

Raider Run t shirts are now for sale! $10 each. See Ms. Haubrich or a National Honor Society member for an order form as soon as possible. The Raider Run is May 26th! Don't be the only one without a t shirt!

IF YOU ARE BRINGING SOMEONE FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL YOU NEED TO GET THE PERMISSION FORM FROM MS. LAVALLEE, MAIN OFFICE, GUIDANCE OFFICE.

Parents and students the BHS School Counseling Office has a very valuable website that provides a lot of information about what is happening in the counseling office. Scholarship opportunities, programs available to our students, "what's new" section that gives the current months activities and so much more! BHS is very excited to announce that we are offering a self defense class for women. The Rape Aggression Defense training class is open to women students, faculty members, and family members who are interested in this training. The course cost is $10 per person and will take place on 5/16, 5/18, 5/23, and 5/25 from 3:30-6:30. We need 10 participants to run the program. If you are interested please see Ms. Lavallee in room 105 or email her at llavallee@sau80.org.
