Dear Shaker Families,
I hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer vacation. I would like to welcome all of you back to another great school year starting next Monday, August 28th. We have been very busy throughout the summer months with students attending summer school, teachers working on curriculum, and several contractors working on upgrading our facilities. A few facility upgrades to mention are; new roofs on our middle school and Memorial Building, a newly paved parking lot at CES, and several security upgrades in our middle and elementary schools. We are pleased with all that has been accomplished in such a short period of time. Even though the buildings were bustling throughout the summer, the schools always seem empty to me without our entire student body present. I am truly looking forward to all of our students returning on the 28th!
I would also like to thank all of you in advance for your efforts and support throughout the coming school year.
