Athletics:
No games scheduled today
*Congratulations to the BG Hockey team for their 6-4 home opener win against Hollis Brookline last night. Tallying points for Belmont were Caleb Drouin, Dylan Treamer, Jeremy and Andrew D'Amour. Next game is Saturday at Conval.
SALT:
Team meeting today @ 2:30PM in Rm. 203
Guidance:
A representative from the US Army has scheduled a visit today @ 10:00 for interested Juniors and Seniors
Drivers Education:
The next Drivers Ed class will begin on January 8th and will run until Feb. 21st. You must be 16 by the last class. Classes are each Tues. & Thurs. from 6:00-8:00PM. If you are interested in signing up please pick up a form in the main office. Please note a deposit of $150 is due when you pass in your paperwork.
PTO:
The newly created BHS PTO will be meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 6 pm in the Guidance office. We welcome parents to attend anytime their schedule allows, with no commitment required. Please come join us at the December meeting on Thursday, December 20th at 6 pm in the BHS Guidance office. Attached to this bulletin are the December Agenda and November minutes. Meeting today to organize Christmas Cookie Service Project during break.
Math Team:
Congratulations goes out to our fabulous math team, who is currently in first place in the senior math category in the division of all small schools of about 500 students in the Lakes Region. We are currently leading the second place school by only 6 points (Tilton Prep). Kudo's to Mrs. Delgado and Ms. Jemery and the seniors on the math team.
*National French Club:
Meeting after school on Wednesday, December 19 in room 205.
*Student Council:
*Will be holding a non-perishable food drive until tomorrow. The top three classes will receive prizes from Dunkin Donuts.Please bring your food into your 4th block class.
Holiday T-shirts:
The Student Council is selling holiday t-shirts for $10. If you are interested in preordering, please see either Austin Wilder or Mr. Bourque. You will need to provide them with your name, tshirt size and your $10. Deadline to place your order is tomorrow.
Prom Committee:
Meeting tomorrow at 2:15PM in Rm 209.
Drama:
The following students need to return their Librettos / Scripts / Music back from the musical to Ms. Fair or students who have not returned theirs will owe $25! Kieran Harpell, Asher Clark, Alicia Gebo, Devon Sweeney, Katie Tarr.
Class of 2015:
DJ Derrick returns for the Holly Ball dance tomorrow night from 8:00-10:30PM. Admission is $6.00 per person or $5.00 with a donation of a canned good. If you are planning on bringing a guest who does not go to BHS you will need to pick up a permission form which is available for pick up in the main office.
FBLA:
* Our last meeting of 2012 will be our Holiday Celebration on Wednesday, December 19th at 2:30pm in Mr. Hill's room. I hope you all can make it!
Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House. Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in. The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March. Thank you for supporting this great cause!
Spanish Exchange:
Exchange with Spain: $1 raffle, Belmont Super Cuts men's or woman's products and service. Drawn Fri. 12/21.
Spanish Club Fundraising:
The Spanish Club is taking orders for Christmas dessert pies. Orders need to be placed by tomorrow and will be available for pick up in Rm 105 on Dec 21st. If interested email ennisfamily@comcast.net
