Athletics:
Track & Field:
Belmont was proudly represented this past weekend by both Bruce Zimmer and Joe Boles at the New England Track and Field Championships. Bruce placed 22nd in the Shot Put with a throw of 45' 7.25". Joe placed 9th in the 800m with a time of 1:56.22 (bettering his School Record by another 0.2 sec). The event is for the best 36 athletes among the 6 New England States. Congratulations boys on a great season!
Boys Basketball:
There will be boys basketball meeting tomorrow @ 2:20pm in the gym.
Girls Softball:
For those that have not turned in their uniform please leave them in the office. Coach Clary will be in tomorrow to pick them up.
Golf:
Anyone interested in playing BHS golf next fall, please meet in room 111 during break tomorrow. Athletic permission and physical forms will be distributed as well as practice and match schedules. If you cannot attend please contact Coach Charleston (kcharleston@sau80.org
Girls Lacrosse:
On Sunday, June 22nd, from 10:00 to 1:00 PM, Belmont Girls Lacrosse will be hosting a Lacrosse clinic at Belmont High School. The instructor for the clinic will be Maura Murphy. She was a 4 year player at SNHU and was the leading scorer during her time there. She was then hired as an assistant coach at SNHU and held that position for 3 years after graduation. This year she was hired as the assistant coach at Windham High School, who is playing in the DII championship this week. Please come take advantage of this 3 hours of free training to continue to improve your Lax skills.
Sign up by today if you plan on attending , by emailing Marta Silakka @ msilakka@nhada.com and if you do plan on attending please show up. Ms. Murphy is donating her time to help our team so lets not waste the opportunity.
Boys Football:
Anyone interested in playing football for the Gilford-Belmont Cooperative JV Football team in the fall please attend the meeting tomorrow @ 2:45PM . Information and schedules will be available for the summer and fall.
Fall Signup Meeting:
There will be a meeting for athletes, parents and coaches tomorrow night @ 6:00PM in the gym. This meeting is for all athletes who are interested in playing a fall sport in the upcoming school year. Parents and athletes will also have the opportunity to meet the coaches. Attendance is highly encouraged.
Operation Hat Trick Baseball Hats:
Available for $20 in the main office. These hats are camo design with BHS embroidered on them.
Red Raider Golf Tournament:
BHS will be hosting the 1st Annual Red Raider Golf Tournament on Friday June 27th at Loudon Country Club. If you would like more info please pick up an informational sheet with details in the main office.

Class of 2016 Prom Committee:
Students who expressed interest in being on the Prom Committee for next year need to meet in Mr. Hill's room at break tomorrow. Please be prompt so we can start at 8:55am.
Fall Drivers Education:
The fall Drivers Education session will start Aug 28th and will run until Oct 16th. If you turn 16 by Oct 16th and would be interested in signing up please come to the main office for a sign up sheet before you leave for summer vacation. The cost is $650 with $150 deposit due one month prior to the start of the class with remaining $500 due by the first night of class.
Band:
Informational meeting re: next year's band trip to Florida will be held tonight @ 6:00PM in the music room.
PTO:
BHS PTO has rescheduled their June meeting to Wednesday, June 18th, at 6 pm in the Guidance Office Conference Room. Please see the attached Agenda. Come stay connected with what is happening here at Belmont High School, or offer some input on program ideas and fundraisers! Please help us make BHS the best it can be for our students, staff and community. No commitments necessary !
2014 Graduates:
1. Please save any files from your network drive that you wish to keep. All class of 2014 network drives will be permanently deleted after July 31st 2014.
2. Just a reminder that your school Google account will remain active until October 1, 2014.
Summer Classes:
1. The Digital Photography course will again be offered this summer. Sign up in guidance or see Mr. Frick.
2. VLAX Credit Recovery Class will also be offered this summer. Please sign up in the guidance office.
Any senior taking Mr. McNabb's classes needs to see him in room 212 at break for Summer Reading & Writing.
Any student taking AP World History next year needs to stop by room 204 and pick up your summer assignments. These will be collected and graded when we commence in August.
