Athletics:

Cross Country:

1. Congrats to the Track and Field athletes who competed at Saturday's Meet of Champions.  Joe Boles took 3rd place in the 800m bettering his school record to 1:56.44.  Bruce Zimmer also took 3rd place in Shot Put, throwing 45' 8.75".  The boys 4x400m relay (Tyler Rolfe, Joe, Kyle Gelinas, and Matt LeClair) fought to a 10th place finish in 3:34.46.  Joe and Bruce qualified for next week's New England Championships in Bridgewater, MA.  Great job all!

 

2. XC (Boys and Girls) meeting Wednesday after school in room 107.  Summer training to be discussed.  Schedule and information to be distributed.  If you can't attend but are interested see Mr. Hayward in Rm 107.

 

Girls Basketball:

Anyone interested in or planning on playing girls basketball next year please meet after school on Wednesday June 11th at 2:20pm in the gym. The summer schedule will be handed out.

 

Operation Hat Trick:

Due to the overwhelming response from OHT another order for hats has been placed. They will be sold for $20.   If you would like to order a hat you can email Erica Knolhoff at eknolhoff@sau80.org Students can place their order in the main office and money can also be dropped off there as well.

 

Red Raider Golf Tournament:

BHS will be hosting the 1st Annual Red Raider Golf Tournament on Friday June 27th at Loudon Country Club. If you would like more info please pick up an informational sheet with details in the main office.

Graduation:

Flowers Available at Graduation - The Class of 2016 will be selling flowers at graduation for friends and family of graduates to purchase.  Please see the options below, including special pricing for BHS graduation, that will be available.  Lakes Region Floral Studio is also offering this special pricing to parents, family, and friends wishing to pre-order flowers that will be delivered to Meadowbrook and available for pick-up at graduation. Call Lakes Region Floral Studio at 524-1853 for more information or to order.

1. Single rose in a wrap with greenery and accent flowers- $ 5

2. Half dozen roses in a wrap with greenery and accent flowers- $ 15

3. A fresh flower bouquet in a wrap with greenery and accent flowers - Small - $10 , Medium - $20

4. Dozen wrapped roses with greenery and accents -$ 25

 

 

Class of 2016 :

Four to six  students are needed to help sell and distribute flowers at graduation.  The first 4-6 students to see Mr. Hill will have his opportunity.

 

Class Night:

HELP NEEDED! Mrs. O'Connell needs 2-3 volunteers to hand out programs on Class Night from 5:30-6:00pm and 5-6 volunteers to hand out programs at Graduation from 5-6pm. If interested see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance.

Guidance:

Summer Classes:

1. The Digital Photography course will again be offered this summer. Sign up in guidance or see Mr. Frick.

 

2. VLAX Credit Recovery Class will also be offered this summer. Please sign up in the guidance office.

 

3. Are you 18 or older? You may be eligible to participate in Work Ready NH-TUITION FREE!

Gain new skills or sharpen existing skills through a 60+ hour program to earn both a 
Workplace Foundational Soft Skill and National Career Readiness Certificates.  There will be 2 work sessions that take place for 5 days, over a 3 week period, Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:00 pm. For more information and to sign up, please call 366-5395. Session I    6/23-7/11 and Session II   7/14-8/1

 

Summer Job Opportunity:

Paid summer math tutoring position available. If you are interested in tutoring an incoming 9th grader if Pre-Algebra this summer, call Tammy at 366-8459. Hours and pay are negotiable.

Prom Committee:

Class of 2016 prom committee sign -ups are outside Mr. Hills Rm. Please sign up if interested


FBLA: 

1. Will have a meeting today @  2:20pm in Mr. Hill's room to discuss summer fundraising opportunities, the work underway for this fall's holiday fair, and plans for next year.

 

2. Will continue to collect can tabs all year for David's House. You can see Mr. Hill in Rm 211 or pass into the main office.

 

Robotics:

Meets today @ 2:30PM in Rm. 209.

 

Chess Club:

Meets tomorrow @ 2:30PM in Rm 209.
