Guidance:

Attention sophomores and juniors!

Lakes Region Community College is offering their annual summer scholars program. With the generous support of LRGHealthcare the college will be providing a FREE college Anatomy and Physiology I course to a select group of talented high school students interested in a career in the field of healthcare. This course is extremely challenging, but very rewarding.

In addition, successful completion of this course will allow students to earn four college credits, which are transferable to the University of New Hampshire, Plymouth State, Keene State and other colleges and universities. Anatomy & Physiology I completion will give students applying for selective college programs such as Nursing a significant advantage.  Interested sophomores or juniors must have completed algebra I and biology as a prerequisites.

LRCC is asking only that students show their serious intention by making a $50 deposit, which will be fully refunded to all students who complete the course with a grade of C, or better.

BHS can only send two students to this program and time is of the essence. Interested students must come to guidance for an application and the application must be returned by FRIDAY, MAY 6TH!!
