Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer Team on their Semi-Final win over Campbell 2-0. Kelsey Scott scored both goals and also helped control the midfield throughout the game. Kudo's to Jasmine Syed on an outstanding performance defensively on Campbell's best player. Sana Syed and Lizzie Fleming were standouts on the defensive side of the ball. A huge shout-out to Mariah Watson, who had another outstanding game in net. The Varsity Girls will play for the "ship" on Sunday at 4:00 in Laconia against Fall Mountain. All the best to them.

District Wellness News:

The Meredith Village Savings Bank wellness grant contest has begun. This is an opportunity to receive $3000 for our students.  If you vote you could also win a Fitbit® Blaze Smart Fitness Watch for yourself! Visit this page to vote: https://a.pgtb.me/fMSGgh

Here is our entry:

The Shaker Regional School District health promotion initiative is centered around our students' water consumption and the health benefits associated with appropriate water intake. We will be focusing our efforts with age appropriate education and role modeling water consumption to all of our students.  We will initiate this by placing a water bottle in every student and faculty member's hand, which can be used at the schools' water refill stations, and following through with health promotion education in all four Shaker Regional School District schools.

You can only vote once. Please share the contest with family and friends on Facebook. We are competing against area schools so every vote counts. Thank you for your support! Contest goes from 10/4-11/18.
