*A BIG thank you to those who helped us at last Friday's Belmont 'Jeri Blair' Invitational.  With the efforts of Ray Craigie, John Goegel, Ron Mitchell, Randy Phillips, Dan Clary, Rick Aquilano, Rich Bryant, Steve Fournier, Sharon Akerstrom, Tonya Angwin, and John Frick  we were able to put forth a first class meet which our student-athletes and the attending schools appreciated greatly.  A total of 450 athletes were registered for the race, with 24 participating schools.  That's a large event!

The Cross-country team continued to battle through illness and injury.  The girls were lead by Hannah Drew-Moyer (99th), followed closely by Nicole Rosas (104), Carol Lipshultz (105), and Michele Wieting (111).  Kyle Patten finished first for the boys (88th), followed by Ian Rupp (108), Travis Akerstrom (114), Tyler Rolfe (missed #), Nikolai Fernandez (164), Devon Kenney (181).  Our next meet is Friday at Gilford HS for the Central Lakes Championships.

FBLA:

Holiday Fair - The 6th Annual BHS Holiday Fair hosted by FBLA will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 9am to 3pm at the high school.  Over 100 crafters and vendors are expected, and the day will also include a raffle and breakfast, lunch, and snacks offered by various student groups.  Interested vendors can contact Mr. Hill at bhill@sau80.org for more information.  A portion of the proceeds from the fair will be donated to local charities for the holiday season.  Make plans now to come start your holiday shopping with us!  Thank you for your support!

* Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House.  Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in.  The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March.  Thank you for supporting this great cause!

Geskus Photography:

Picture retakes will be on Thursday, Oct 25th . Any student who had a picture taken who is not happy with their portrait should bring in their pictures on retake day.  It is very helpful if you  have a comment why you  did not like the picture, i.e. your  hair was not right, the smile.. This way the photographer will make sure that the student's pose is not the same as before.

When a student brings in his/her old picture(s) and wants to receive the same package they do not have to fill a new order form.  But if anything should change they will need to add the additional cost and to make sure the background is the same.

Please note that new ID's will NOT be taken, so the ID you have already received is the ID you will use for this school year.
