Gunstock Ski Sale:
Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9-3 in the Main Lodge @ Gunstock in Gilford. Choose from a huge selection of new and used inventory from 14 area ski shops. Drop off old gear for a small consignment fee on Friday, Nov 2 from 4-8PM. Proceeds benefit the Gunstock Ski Club ski racing program for area kids. Go to Gunstockskiclub.com for more information.
Spook Walk:
Tomorrow night @ 6:00PM the Canterbury Boy Scouts will be hosting their annual Spook Walk in the center of Canterbury. The boy scouts are looking for volunteers. There will be a meeting on Friday at the Town Hall from 3:00-3:30PM and on Saturday at 10:00AM for set up of the Spook Walk. A sign up sheet is located in front of the band room. Volunteers are asked to be there at 5:00PM.
Shoe Drive:
Stephanie Kruzel is asking for shoe donations. The shoes will benefit children and adults in Africa. The shoe box is located in the main office. Cash donations will also be accepted as it costs $1 to ship one pair of shoes. Cash donations can also be dropped off in the main office. Deadline for collections is Nov 10th. Your extra pair of shoes could be their first. Thank you for your support.
Food Drive:
Lakes Region Vineyard Church is asking for donations for their food pantry. Donated items can be brought to the BHS main office until Nov 20th.

*Girls interested in the sciences are invited to attend the FIRST Women in Science and Technology Forum on Nov. 2nd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at UNH Manchester. Helen Greiner, co-founder of iRobot, and Betty Shanahan, CEO of the Society of Women Engineers, will be the keynote speakers. Please see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance to sign up by today.

Manchester Community College is having an AUTOMOTIVE OPEN HOUSE tomorrow,from 11am-1pm at their college on 1066 Front Street in Manchester, NH. Tour their state-of-the-art Auto Technology Center, meet with faculty and learn about their Auto Programs. Apply on Saturday and they will waive the $20 application fee!
Attention Seniors! Lakes Region Community College will be holding an Open House tomorrow from 9 -12. Students who bring theirapplication and apply that day will receive a waiver. See Mrs. O'Connell in guidance.
Calling all Sophomores! Or any other interested students. We are looking for students interested in Law, Public Safety, Corrections & Security to attend a Career Panel Discussion with a Fire Chief, Police Detective, Correctional Supervisor, Lawyer, Forensic Accountant, Federal Marshall and more!! This career panel will take place on Thursday, November 8th at the Huot Technical Center in Laconia from 10:15-12:15 We only have 20 spots available, so please sign up in the guidance office ASAP!! Students will be transported to and from the Huot by bus and this field trip is FREE. Remember to pick up a permission slip when you sign up. Come and learn about different professions, enjoy small group discussions-where your questions will be answered, and gain advice on how to successful in this field.

We accept hard copies and digital ones. Hard copies can be placed in Ms. Pitrone's mailbox. Class of 2013:
The deadline for submitting Senior pictures is fast approaching. Make sure to get a hard copy or digital image to Ms. Pitrone by November 9th or we will be forced to use your school ID photo. Please see Ms. Pitrone with any questions or concerns. Pictures can be emailed to apitrone@sau80.org.
Class of 2014:
Anyone who would like to purchase a BHS tie-dye shirt please see Mr. Deshaies in Rm 209. T-shirts are $10 and are on a first come first serve basis as quantities and sizes are limited.

FBLA:
*FBLA - Please bring your dues ($20) in to Treasurer, Nikolai Fernandez, or Mr. Hill by November 1st. Nikolai needs to get everyone registered in the next two weeks

Holiday Fair - The 6th Annual BHS Holiday Fair hosted by FBLA will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 9am to 3pm at the high school. Over 100 crafters and vendors are expected, and the day will also include a raffle and breakfast, lunch, and snacks offered by various student groups. Interested vendors can contact Mr. Hill at bhill@sau80.org for more information. A portion of the proceeds from the fair will be donated to local charities for the holiday season. Make plans now to come start your holiday shopping with us! Thank you for your support!
Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House. Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in. The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March. Thank you for supporting this great cause!
