Athletics:
* Fall Athletic Awards:
Tomorrow @ 5:00PM in gym. Please note this is a time change.
Dodge Ball:
After school Wed & Thurs for anyone interested in playing.
* Winter Sports:
Sign up sheets are posted on the outside of the gym doors.
* Indoor Track & Field:
Organizational meeting on Wed. Nov 14th after school in Rm.114.
Concussion testing:
Winter sports athletes that have not had concussion screening will need to see Mr. Fournier in Rm. 108 sometime this week to schedule a time for testing. All winter athletes excluding anyone who has already had the concussion impact test previously will need to do so before starting the winter season.
* SALT:
Leadership meeting Thurs. Nov 8th @ 2:15 in Rm 203.
Girls Basketball:
There will be a meeting on Thursday Nov 8th at @ 2:30PM for any girl interested in playing basketball.
Homework Club:
No homework club today.
*PTO:
The newly created BHS PTO will be meeting on the third Thursday of each month. We welcome parents to attend anytime their schedule allows – no commitment required! The November meeting is on Thursday, November 15thin the BHS Guidance office. Please come join us as we create our BHS PTO vision, mission, and focus. Attached to this bulletin are the minutes from the first meeting. A big thank you to all parents who attended and the involvement and dedication from our Principal, Dan Clary and Vice Principal, Rick Aquilano. A special thank you to Lisa Garnett for her willingness and support to bring our PTO idea to the BHS administration and Colleen Akerman for capturing the minutes from our meeting. Shoe Drive:
Stephanie Kruzel is asking for shoe donations. The shoes will benefit children and adults in Africa. The shoe box is located in the main office. Cash donations will also be accepted as it costs $1 to ship one pair of shoes. Cash donations can also be dropped off in the main office. Deadline for collections is Nov 10th. Your extra pair of shoes could be their first. Thank you for your support.
Food Drive:
Lakes Region Vineyard Church is asking for donations for their food pantry. Donated items can be brought to the BHS main office until Nov 20th.
News from the Guidance Dept:
*Simmons College will be here on Thursday 11/8 at 11am. Interested juniors and seniors please sign up in the guidance office.
*Congratulations to Nikki Miller and Jessica Peake on their acceptance to Lakes Region Community College!
UNH Manchester is having a two high school open house events scheduled for tomorrow and Saturday, November 17th. Students can obtain information a register online at: http://manchester.unh.edu/admissions/high-school-open-house . Besides the standard tour and admissions information we'll be running a session specifically for parents on: financial aid & how to pay for college, how to assist your child in navigating the college search process and the importance of selecting your senior year courses.
Clubs:
*Drama Club:
There will be Steam Heat dance practices for all soccer boys involved on Wed & Thurs. from 2:15-3:00 in the caf.
*Math Team:
Meet at Merrimack Valley High School tomorrow @ 3:00PM . Bus departs @ 2:00PM and will return to BHS @ 5:30PM.

* Class of 2013: Fundraiser Opportunity:
If you would like to participate in the Cash Calendar fundraiser see Mr. Foley to pick up
calendars. They are for the month of December and are $5.00 each. We will sell until November 30th. Seniors can see class officers during lunch to pick up calendars to sell also.
The deadline for submitting Senior pictures is fast approaching. Make sure to get a hard copy or digital image to Ms. Pitrone by Friday, November 9th or we will be forced to use your school ID photo. Please see Ms. Pitrone with any questions or concerns. Pictures can be emailed to apitrone@sau80.org.
Class of 2014:
Anyone who would like to purchase a BHS tie-dye shirt please see Mr. Deshaies in Rm 209. T-shirts are $10 and are on a first come first serve basis as quantities and sizes are limited.

Need an idea for a holiday gift? BHS water bottle $10. Email señora - shampton@sau80.org. if interested. Water bottles are available until they are gone.
FBLA:
Month of meetings will be as follows:
Wednesday, November 7th at 2:20pm (if needed for Holiday Fair)
Holiday Fair - Mix 94.1 Cash N Cans Drive - Donations of canned goods or cash donations for the Mix 94.1 Cash N Cans Drive will be collected at the Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 10th. If you are willing and able to support this cause, please do. Our local food pantries are beneficiaries of this event.
Holiday Fair - The 6th Annual BHS Holiday Fair hosted by FBLA will be held on Saturday, November
10th from 9am to 3pm at the high school. Over 100 crafters and vendors offering a wdie variety of hand crafted and holiday items will be at the fair, and the day will also include a raffle and breakfast, lunch, and snacks offered by various student groups. A portion of the proceeds from the fair will be donated to local charities for the holiday season. Make plans now to come start your holiday shopping with us! Thank you for your support!
Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House. Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in. The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March. Thank you for supporting this great cause!
