Athletics:
BHS Girls VAR/JV Soccer @Somersworth BUS LEAVES: 1:55pm Games: 4:00/5:30pm
BHS Golf @ Campbell BUS LEAVES: 1:55pm Match: 3:30pm
Tuesday evening at Plymouth, the Boys and Girls Cross-Country teams competed in their second meet of the season. Ian Rupp paced the Boys in 20:16 (18th), followed by Nikolai Fernandez (34th), Brennan Malone(38th), Michael Burbank(42nd), Isaiah Knowlton(43rd), Chris Spooner-Bishop(69th), and Kaleb Brown(92nd). Nicole Rosas (44th) and Carol Lipshultz (45th) finished strong for the Girls team. Their next meet isSaturday at Laconia.
Car Registration:
Administration will be checking vehicles in the parking lot to make sure there is a white hang tag on the rearview mirror. If you know you don't have a new white tag, please come to the main office for a car registration form.
Student Portraits
Student Portraits are today, everyone has to have their picture taken for student ID's.
FBLA
The Fall Leadership Workshop will be held on October 9th, 2014.
Your registration fee ($35 payable to BHS) and permission slips for the Fall Leadership Workshop are due tomorrow. Please see Colton Cadarette to hand these in or turn them in to Mr. Hill's mailbox in an envelope in the office. Please include your t-shirt size on the envelope
Our next meeting will be Monday, September 15th at 2:20pm in Mr. Hill's room. Students running for an office need to get their applications to Mr. Hill by tomorrow and be ready to give a short, meaningful speech on Monday about why you are a good candidate for the position.
For all students ... FBLA will continue to collect can tabs all year for David's House. You can drop them off in Rm 211 or pass into the main office. Thank you for your support!
Class of 2015:
Any senior interested in attaining a Diploma of Distinction please come see Ms. Tardugno for a possible idea if you are in need of a community service project.
Senior Pictures
The deadline to submit senior pictures is fast approaching. Submit a disc or flash drive to Mrs. Hamilton BY Friday October 31st. Any photos turned in after this date will be charged a late fee.
Yearbook Sale
Yearbooks are on sale now! Order forms are available through Mrs. Hamilton in Room 206 or the main office to purchase your DISCOUNTED yearbook. Don't miss the opportunity to save money on this keepsake. Supplies are LIMITED!
Class of 2016:
Students working at NHMS need to turn in the waiver to Mr. Hill or his mailbox in the office. Please also remember to let him know if you are going to orientation tomorrow night (6-8pm) or Saturday morning (10:30am-12:30pm) at NHMS
We still need a few more volunteers for the races at NHMS on Saturday, Sept 20th and we need 6 for Sunday, Sept 21st. We will simply be directing cars in the parking lots. This is a great opportunity to make $75-$100 in one easy day. Bring a parent, brother, sister, aunt or uncle (must be 16 years of age minimum), or work both days, and add even more to your account! Please see Mr. Hill or Ms. Haubrich early this week to sign up. Information about online video training and orientation will go out via email this week. Please take advantage of this opportunity ... anyone can go on a great class trip FREE if you get involved now!
The NASCAR race at NHMS is Sun. Sept. 21. If you are 16 and want to work, sign up in room 207. Only 6 spots left.
We will also have an opportunity to help out with the Color Run at NHMS on October 11th, and we will be selling Yankee Candles once again in November. Looking forward to a great year!

Guidance
Bow High School is hosting a college information night on 10/8 at 6:30 PM in
their Auditorium for Yale, Dartmouth, Brown and Colby. If you are a student
who is applying to one of these schools, please pass this information on to
them so they can meet the reps. The event should last from 6:30-8:30 PM.
Wednesday, September 10th from 6:30-8pm in the BHS cafeteria the guidance department along with a member of a NHHEAF will be presenting a FREE college night for parents of juniors that will help prepare them for the college process ahead that includes college visits, rigor of studies and an overview of the application process.
On Friday, September 12th from 9:20-10:20am juniors and seniors will attending a college mini-fair that will be held in the BHS cafeteria. Schools in attendance to include UNH, SNHU, Keene, PSU and more!
Guidance
Laconia Adult Education will be offering an SAT (college board) Prep Class beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 24th and running for seven weeks. The SAT Prep class is scheduled to end on Wednesday, Nov. 5th in time for the SAT exam that is scheduled to be given on Saturday, Nov, 8th. The cost for this class is: Registration Fee $25, book fee $20 for a total cost of $95. To enroll, please contact Peggy Selig, Director of Laconia Adult Ed at 524-5712.
JUNIORS and SENIORS
Off for a college visit? Snap a selfie by one of that college's landmarks and send it off to Ms. Seiferth at bseiferth@sau80.org We will print it of and add it to our new college bound bulletin board!
Advisory
Mr. Foley and Mrs. Beauchesne's advisories will be meeting during the second half of power hour in room 214 today.
French Club
Is meeting Monday September 15th at 6:00pm in the BHS Library.
From Wednesday, March 18 to Saturday, March 29, Belmont High School students will have the opportunity to travel to France. During this travel program, students will benefit from the cultural exposure and linguistic opportunity that they will experience in France.
If a student intends to apply for the travel experience, one of the parents or guardians must attend this meeting. This is mandatory. Although the students are not required to attend this first meeting, they will emerge from the meeting better informed of the program and the expectations. Completion of French 2 required.
Drivers Ed
Next Class starts October 28th, and ends December 18th. If you turn 16 by the end of this class and would like to take drivers ed please come to the office for the form.
Gaming Club
There will be a tabletop gaming club in the library today after school. See Brandon Farris or John Valengavich for more information.
