Senior Pictures
The deadline to submit senior pictures is fast approaching. Submit a disc or flash drive to Mrs. Hamilton BY Friday October 31st. Any photos turned in after this date will be charged a late fee.

Guidance
Seniors, scholarship opportunities are beginning to start arriving in the guidance office. Please check the scholarship section of our guidance website at https://sites.google.com/site/belmonthighguidance/. Check back frequently to be updated on the latest opportunities.
Attention juniors and seniors! We have 2 more colleges that will be visiting the guidance office this week. Wednesday 9/24 at 1:30pm UConn and on Thursday 9/25 at 9:15am Lyndon State College. If you are interested in learning more about any of these colleges please sign up in the guidance office.
"Girls Rock the Capitol" for girls ages 15-18 offered through Girls Scouts. A program that offers opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at state politics. If this sounds like that something you would be interested in, see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance for more information
Scholarship opportunity, for seniors, that are student athletes. The Wendy's Heisman scholarship is available for seniors to apply until October 3rd. For more information, or to apply go to WendysHeisman.com.

Spelling Bee
The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation is hosting their annual Spelling Bee on November 6th at 6:30. This fun and entertaining event takes place at Laconia High School. Seniors, see Ms. Haubrich to join a team and have some fun (costumes welcome!). This is a great opportunity to get yourself known to the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation people who will be awarding college scholarships in the Spring!
Running Start
If you wish to take English 12 as a Running Start course, your application and payment is due by Thursday, September 25th. If you are hoping to take English 12 as a Running Start course, you also must take the Accuplacer exam on September 29th. You may pay your $20 Accuplacer fee on that date, or ahead of time. All applications and payments go to Ms. Haubrich in guidance. Although Running Start courses are $150, you may also submit a Scholarship Form in order to get a reduced rate of $75. Parents, please contact me for further information regarding this valuable opportunity for your student to get college credit for English 12, AP World History, and/or Computer Graphics I and II.

Homecoming
Homecoming dance/bonfire is coming up October 3rd if you plan on inviting a guest that does NOT go to BHS please pick up a permission slip form in the main office.
Computers
Starting Monday, September 29, staff and students will no longer be able to log on to the BHS domain. SAU80 will be the only active domain on/after that day.
Juniors
Any student interested in working at the Color Run on Saturday, October 11th
needs to see Mr. Hill or Ms. Haubrich to sign up and get instructions for online registration. We have 20 spots ... first come, first served
We need 6-8 students to work our booth for homecoming. Please see Mrs. Haubrich to sign up. First come, first served ... 10:00-1:30 or 1:30-5:00.
Prom Committee
There will be a prom committee meeting today, Wednesday at 10:20 in guidance.
Open House
Just a reminder that Open House is this Thursday at 6pm.
Robotics
There is a robotics meeting today from 2:30-5pm in room 209
All Things Graphics
There is a ATG meeting today at 2:30pm in room 106
Fingerprinting
Parents reminder there is a fingerprinting clinic tonight from 6-7pm at BHS in the gym. (make sure to have a photo ID)
National Honor Society
There is a meeting for the National Honor Society on Thursday the 25th at 10:20 in Guidance.
Advisory
Mrs. Fountain's advisory will meet today at 10:25 in the band room.
Freshmen advisory the first part of power hour today in room 105.
