The Belmont-Gilford Ice Hockey Boosters Association invites you to "Open Ice" sessions at the Laconia Ice Arena. Come and check out Skating and Hockey at our Open Ice Sessions. The Open Ice sessions are open to ALL Belmont and Gilford Students to get a feel for the game of hockey. See if the Game of Hockey is for You! Hockey Skates, Stick, and Proper protective gear is required, (Helmet and Pads).

The next driver's ed. Class starts on January 6th and will run until Feb 19th. Please note you must be 16 by the end of the class. Parents meeting will be on Monday Jan. 5th. If you are interested in signing up please come to the main office for a form. The deposit of $150 is due when you sign up with the remaining $500 by the first day of the class.

Thank you to all who have voted and had your friends and family vote for Belmont High School. The Facebook contest has ramped up with Belmont and Gilford in neck to neck competition. If Belmont wins, we have an anonymous donor that will provide an additional $3,000. That would be fantastic! Please continue to help by mentioning it at holiday gatherings, standing in line on Black Friday, or any other opportunity you may have to gain a few more votes. The Belmont Police Department's "Santa's Little Helper's" Program is available to Belmont families in need of gifts of clothing and toys for children under age 16. Forms are available at the Belmont Police Department starting November 10th until December 12th. Proof of residency must be provided when you apply. If you have any questions please call Officer Joe Marcello at 267-8350.
Saint Vincent de Paul Children's Foundation in Laconia provides clothing, socks, underwear and personal hygiene items for infants through age 18. Applications are being taken and filled at SVDP on Tuesday Dec 9th & 16th from 4:30-7 pm, and Saturdays Dec 6 and 13 from 10 am-2 pm. Please call 524-5470 for more information.
These wonderful organizations are always in need of donations so if you are looking for a way to give back to the community and help make a child's Holiday a little merrier, please consider donating.

What could be more exciting than a family reunion at a bed and breakfast in the tropics? Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it! Join us for the BHS Drama production of "A Family Reunion to Die For", a fun-filled family reunion, full of laughs and ……….a mysterious MURDER (or two, or three). Performances are tonight and tomorrow night from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the Belmont Middle School Gymnasium. Admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and senior citizens. Children under 6 are free. Refreshments will be sold.
