Athletics
The Fall Sports Awards Night will be Thursday November 13 at 6:30pm in the gym.
Winter sport sign-up sheets are on the gym doors. Practice and tryout information will be posted soon.
Girls Basketball
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing this year on Friday November 7th at 2:30 in the cafeteria. The meeting will be to go over what we will be doing in tryouts as well as making sure all paperwork is done on time.
Boys Basketball
Will have a pre-season conditioning and skill development work out on Wednesday November 5 from 3pm - 430pm in the gym. Anyone interested in playing this year is encouraged to attend.
Facebook Contest
Please take two minutes and vote for Belmont High School to win the art grant that Meredith Village Savings Bank is currently offering. The prize of $3,000 for our art program at the high school would be fantastic! Please vote, and also ask your thousands of friends to vote for us as well.
We have been running neck and neck with Gilford High School. Please get those votes for BHS in!

Seniors
Any senior interested in going on the Senior Class Trip to Orlando, Florida should come see or email Ms. Tardugno or Mr.Takantjas for a contract form and information on submitting your deposit. Deadline to submit your form and $100 deposit is Friday, November 7th.
Class of 2016
A reminder that your Yankee Candle orders are due this Friday, November 7th. Please get out there and sell! Orders can be turned in to Mr. Hill or Ms. Haubrich.
Holiday Fair
Holiday Fair - The 8th Annual BHS Holiday Fair hosted by the Future Business Leaders of America will be held on Saturday, November 8th from 9am to 3pm at the high school. Over 100 crafters and vendors will be on hand, and the day will also include a large raffle and breakfast, lunch, and snack items throughout the day. The BHS PTO will also be hosting a Santa's Village shopping experience for kids, where they can purchase and wrap surprise gifts for parents and friends to open during the holidays. New this year, Santa will be in attendance and available for photos, so bring your cameras. A portion of the proceeds from the fair will be donated to local charities for the holidays. Make plans now to come start your holiday shopping with us! Thank you for your support!
FBLA
All students bringing dollies for the Holiday Fair - The dollies are needed for 2pm on Friday. If you can drop them off Thursday after school, please do. If anyone else can bring a dolly, please let Colton Cadarette or Mr. Hill know. Label your dolly with your name please.
Please make sure your parents know what you have committed to bringing for a food item. The food should be at BHS with you Saturday morning or no later than 8am please, so the food table can be set up ahead of opening. Label all of your crock pots and serving utensils please.
Holiday Fair Work Schedule: Please be on time for full team meetings at beginning of each day
- Thursday, 11/6 - Holiday Fair Set Up - Meet in gym at 2:20pm; projected end time of 5:00pm; Committee Leads 6:00pm
- Friday, 11/7 - Holiday Fair Set Up - Meet in cafe at 2:20pm; Vendors arriving at 5pm; Pizza at 7:00pm; done at 7:30pm; Committee Leads stay until work is done
- Saturday, 11/8 - Holiday Fair - Meet in lobby at 6:50am; Vendors arrive at 7:30am; Fair 9-3pm; Vendor move out and clean up until 6pm (Committee Leads until all work is done)
For all students ... FBLA will continue to collect can tabs all year for David's House. You can drop them off in Rm 211 or pass into the main office. Thank you for your support!

Reminder to all SENIORS: Cap and gown measurements to be taken in the guidance office on Wednesday, Nov. 12th from 10:45-12:45. All seniors MUST come in during that time to be measured for their cap and gown!
Students in grades 9-11 who would like more information about the National Young Leaders Conference that will be held in Washington, DC in the summer of 2015 should see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance. This conference is an intensive, stimulating leadership program designed to build skills and explain the workings of the government and the capital city of Washington, DC

Career Corner with Mrs. Burke
What: 2nd Annual Manchester Monarchs College Fair and Career Forum
When: Wednesday, November 19
Where: Verizon Wireless Arena, Manchester, NH
Why: Come and learn about different career opportunities in the world of sports and meet representatives from Manchester Monarchs, NH Fisher Cats, UNH Sports Law and Entertainment Law Institute, Local News Outlets, and Local Fitness Professionals. Also, this event will feature a college fair showcasing schools from throughout New England.
Cost: $10 for Hockey Game vs. Worcester Sharks (puck drops at 10 A.M.) & money for lunch
Permission slips are available in Guidance and MUST BE RETURNED with $10 to Mrs. Burke by Friday, November 14th!
CAREER PANELS at the Huot Technical Center are back! If you are interested in the career pathway and would like to attend, please sign up in Guidance with Mrs. Burke. There is no cost to attend and transportation is provided via the HTC bus. Again, these panels are for students looking to explore career paths and hear directly from successful professionals in the field!

Alpine Ski Meeting
We will meet the second half of power hour on Thursday November 13th in Room 111. Forms will be distributed and dryland scheduled discussed. We will be going to Gunstock for passes on Friday November 21st, 3:00PM.

Prom Committee
There will be a prom committee meeting on Wednesday, November 12th at 10:20 in guidance.
Table Tennis
The Annual Table Tennis Tournament will begin Thursday November 13th after school. If you are interested in competing please see Mrs. Bates before Thursday. Tournament dates are 11/13, 11/18 and 11/19.
Table-Top Gaming
There will be a table-top gaming meeting today the first half of power hour in the gym.
