Clubs & Organizations:

Ø  Spanish Club: Today's meeting has been postponed.

 

Ø  Cool Schools: Double points for pumpkins carved at Steeplegate and Spirit Halloween receipts. 

 

Ø  Gaming Club meets today @ 2:20 in library.

 

Ø  Reminder to all students attending the Olympic National Park field trip this April: your                      deposit money is due by tomorrow . Please turn this in, to either Mr. Deshaies, or Ms. Deuell.

 

Class of 2017:

Ø  The Junior Class is selling Calendar Raffle Tickets for $5 each now through Oct 30th.  Winners will be drawn daily during the month of November for the chance to win fabulous prizes. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket please see a junior or contact Mr. Geoffrey atdgeoffrey@sau80.org or Ms. Tardugno at etardugno@sau80.org.  Thank you for your support of the Junior Class!! 

 

Food Drive:

Food drive for non-perishable canned goods is happening in Ms. Lavallee's room. Students & staff can drop off donations in Ms. Lavallee's room in the box marked food drive. 

 

 

PTO:

BHS PTO has extended the deadline for the donation raffle from October 15th to October 31st.  Anyone who has made a donation to BHS PTO using the donation form provided at Open House or enclosed with Progress Reports is eligible for the raffle.
 

BHS PTO will hold their next meeting tonight @ 6 pm in the Guidance Office conference room.  We will be looking for gift ideas and help for our Secret Santa kids' shopping experience at the BHS Holiday Fair, as well as reviewing some fundraising ideas and our next It Takes A Village event.  We would love to have you join us, even for just a short while.  There are no commitments necessary. Please see our attached agenda.

 

LR Scholarship 2015 Community Spelling Bee:

October 22, 2015 @ 6:30pm Laconia High School.  Please see attached flyer for information & team registration form.

 

National Honor Society:

National Honor Society applications are due to Ms.Haubrich by tomorrow.  No applications will be accepted after this date. 

 

Guidance:

Ø  Any senior planning on earning the DIPLOMA OF DISTINCTION Please report to the         guidance office for a meeting with Ms. Ransom during the first half of Power Hour today  to review the process and guidelines.

 

Ø  Girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in a future in Computers, please come to guidance to

           learn more about the Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont Award for Aspirations in Computing!    

          The national winner comes away with $500, and there are college scholarship opportunities.

 

Ø  Any ETS students interested College Campus Day that will take place at Plymouth State University on Saturday, October 31st from 9:30-12:30, please see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance for a registration form. This is a free event for ETS students and their parents. Free information session, tour of PSU, admission requirements, financial aid information and much more. Lunch will be served, free of charge for those who attend. Pre-registration is a must!

Ø  Career Power Hour is BACK and October is LRCC Month!  Please sign up in guidance for the FREE Catered Lunch for one or ALL of the sessions!  Professionals will be here to answer your questions about career options and skills needed to be successful in the following career paths:
