Progress Reports will be mailed home today.

 

Athletics:

Boys Varsity Soccer @ Franklin 4:00PM- bus departs @ 2:40PM

Girls JV Soccer @ Mount Royal 4:00PM- bus departs @ 2:45PM

 

Clubs & Organizations:

Math meet 2:45PM today.

 

ATG:

Meets today @ 2:15PM in Rm 106.

 

Gaming Club:

Meets tomorrow @ 2:20 in the library

  

Class of 2017:

Ø  Calendar Raffle  The Junior Class is selling Calendar Raffle Tickets for $5 each now through Oct 30th.  Winners will be drawn daily during the month of November for the chance to win fabulous prizes. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket please see a junior or contact Mr. Geoffrey atdgeoffrey@sau80.org or Ms. Tardugno at etardugno@sau80.org.  Thank you for your support of the Junior Class!! 

 

FBLA:

Ø  Those students wishing to attend the FBLA fall leadership conference MUST have their dues and payments in to Mr. Malcolm by tomorrow.

 

French Club:

Cheese fest will be held on Tuesday, Oct 13th @ 2:20-3:30PM in Rm. 105

 

LR Scholarship 2015 Community Spelling Bee:

October 22, 2015 @ 6:30pm Laconia High School.  Please see attached flyer for information & team registration form.

 

Guidance:

Ø  Attention all Juniors and Sophomores! The PSAT is happening here at BHS on October 14th! Please come to guidance as soon as possible to sign up to take this test, to prepare for your SAT! The cost of the test will be $15, but see guidance if you need assistance. 

 

 

Ø  Any senior who is applying for the 32 credit diploma of distinction, the 20 credit diploma or       an application to be an early graduate must see Mrs. O'Connell in the guidance office to pick up applications for this process. Completed applications are due back in the guidance office by October 15th.

 

Ø  Girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in a future in Computers, please come to guidance to

           learn more about the Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont Award for Aspirations in Computing!    

          The national winner comes away with $500, and there are college scholarship opportunities.

 

Ø  Any ETS students interested College Campus Day that will take place at Plymouth State University on Saturday, October 31st from 9:30-12:30, please see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance for a registration form. This is a free event for ETS students and their parents. Free information session, tour of PSU, admission requirements, financial aid information and much more. Lunch will be served, free of charge for those who attend. Pre-registration is a must!

 

Upcoming School-to-Career opportunities with Mrs. Burke:

 

Ø  Ocean Discovery Day at UNH on October 16th – Students interested in exploring careers in Marine Science should take advantage of this opportunity!  You will be able to talk with Scientists, operate an ROV in the deep water tank, learn about ocean mapping and acoustics and touch live sea creatures.  Please sign up in Guidance by tomorrow  to reserve a spot on the bus! 

Ø  Career Power Hour is BACK and October is LRCC Month!  Please sign up in guidance for the FREE Catered Lunch for one or ALL of the sessions!  Professionals will be here to answer your questions about career options and skills needed to be successful in the following career paths:

*Sessions will take place in guidance from 10:20 – 11:20am with lunch starting at 11am!
