There is a Costa Rican Travelers parent/student meeting Monday, November 2 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in room 207.
FRESHMAN PARENTS: There is a BHS Freshman grading night on Monday, November 2 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria for parents.
Chaperone raffle: Do you want to go to Olympic National Park with an amazing group of BHS students?? Please see the attached PDF explaining the raffle.

Athletics:
CONGRATULATIONS to the Boys Varsity Soccer for their 8-1 win against Newfound yesterday. A big shout out to Nik Haddock for his first varsity goal! Great job boys! The team plays again against Campbell on Sunday @ 2:00 p.m. at BHS.
Athletics: Today, none.
Saturday: Girls Varsity Soccer v. Hopkinton at 2:00 p.m. @ Hopkinton. Bus leaves at 12:00 p.m.

Ø DOUBLE POINTS Spirit Halloween and True Confections through the end of the month. Please write BHS on the back of any mall receipts for scholarship money competition. LIKE on Facebook or Steeplegate email sign up. Please spread the word through your work place. All marketing efforts are worth points. Send Sra. Hampton copies to submit.
Ø Student Council: The student council will be sponsoring a Halloween Costume competition during Power Hour TODAY. The four categories are Scariest, Funniest, Most Original and Group.
SPANISH CLUB:

THERE IS AN IMPORTANT FBLA MEETING TODAY AT THE START OF POWER HOUR IN ROOM 202 TO GO OVER NEXT WEEK'S HOLIDAY FAIR.
Math Team:
Ø Math Team members planning to compete in next week's math meet at Merrimack Valley (on Nov. 4th) should see Mrs. Delgado by TODAY in order to sign up for it. You can find her in Room 209.
Food Drive:
Ø Food drive for non-perishable canned goods is happening in Ms. Lavallee's room. Students & staff can drop off donations in Ms. Lavallee's room in the box marked food drive.
PTO:
Ø BHS PTO has extended the deadline for the donation raffle from October 15th to October 31st. Anyone who has made a donation to BHS PTO using the donation form provided at Open House or enclosed with Progress Reports is eligible for the raffle.
Ø Thank you to the many families who have made donations. They are greatly appreciated and will be put right back into BHS and our kids! We are hoping to raise enough money to allow us to support BHS in those areas where there are great needs, while also running the It Takes a Village workshop series! Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
Ø The PTO is looking for volunteers to work at our Santa's Secret Shop booth at the BHS Holiday Fair on Saturday, November 7th. Volunteers will help children shop for their family and friends and wrap all items purchased. We are looking for shopping assistants and wrappers. This is a heartwarming experience that the children and volunteers enjoy immensely. The children are thrilled watching family open their special gifts at Christmas! Please note that all volunteers must sign up in advance.
GUIDANCE:
Seniors and juniors
Next Tuesday, Nov. 3rd at 11am in the guidance office the University of Rhode Island will have a representative here to talk to interested students about their college. If interested, please see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance to sign up.
DRAMA: BHS Drama is conducting a costume drive for our musical, Cats! We need donations of fur, textured knits, leg warmers, knit scarves, & gloves: all in semi realistic cat colors! We take pieces large and small. Also, Halloween/ realistic wigs, no matter how scruffy! We are looking in particular for a very large black fur coat and a textured gray one. I can collect! Keep in mind that these will be used in a show so we would prefer things that wouldn't need to be returned/ that can be altered, painted or sewn. Thanks! Spread the word! PS: If anyone owns jazz shoes you're no longer using, we will gladly accept the donation!!
BHS drama rehearsal will meet in the café Monday, November 2 from 2:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Transition Department:
The Transition Department is offering GROCERY SHOPPING. Do you need some last minute items for home or don't have the time to shop? We can be of service to you!

SENIORS
ANY SENIOR WHO IS SEEKING THE 32 CREDIT DIPLOMA OF DISTINCTION, THE 20 CREDIT DIPLOMA OR THE EARLY COMPLETER PROGRAM MUST HAVE THEIR SIGNED AGREEMENT PAPERWORK IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE NO LATER THAN TODAY AT 2:30PM. Only those seniors with completed paperwork will be considered!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!
1. Blue sheets need to be turned into the guidance office ASAP!!! I need to track all the information we are sending to your colleges.
2. BRING YOUR RESUME TO MRS. O'CONNELL NOW!! Ms. Haubrich and Ms. Ransom need to get recommendation letters done to send to your colleges, NO resume, NO recommendation letter.
