Athletics:

TODAY:

Cross Country Skiing @ Bow 3:00PM- bus departs @ 1:45PM.

 

Hockey:

Congratulations to the BG hockey team for their 6-0 win against Portsmouth.  Tallying points for Belmont were Daryl Cahill, Caleb Drouin, Andrew D'Amour, Nikolai Fernandez, Dylan Treamer and Jeremy D'Amour.  Goalie Calvin Davis scored his first shutout of the season.  BGs next game is Saturday at home vs. Manchester West at 4:15.  Go Bulldogs!

 

Swim Team:

Congratulations to Antony Hubbard who placed as follows: 12/21
200 Freestyle:  1st place - Time: 1:56:16
50 Freestyle:    1st place - Time: 24:35

Team Ranking:  11th place (Not bad for one man team)

Girls Softball:

Open Gym for Softball BHS Sundays 6:30 – 8:30 PM All High School Girls

 

Guidance:

Congratulations to Stephanie Kruzel on her acceptances to Suffolk University and Emmanuel College, to Alice Hervey on her acceptance to SNHU and to Madeline Callahan on her acceptance to Becker College.


Reminder to seniors to check the "College Bound" section of BHS website for new scholarship opportunities.

 

The guidance department is looking for students who are interested in architecture, construction, timber frame building, historic preservationist, heavy equipment and engineering to participate on Friday, January 11th during 4th block at the Huot Tech Center Career Panel. Transportation will be provided, NO COST to attend. See Mrs. O'Connell in guidance to sign up and get a permission slip. Deadline to sign up will be Tuesday, Jan 8th.

 

Drivers Education:

The next Drivers Ed class will begin on January 8th and will run until Feb. 21st. You must be 16 by the last class. Classes are each Tues. & Thurs. from 6:00-8:00PM. If you are interested in signing up please pick up a form in the main office. Please note a deposit of $150 is due when you pass in your paperwork.


Clubs:

Math Team:

Math Team members planning to participate in next Wednesday's math meet need to sign up in Room 112 ASAP.

 

SALT:

Meeting today at 2:30PM in Rm. 203.

 

Prom Committee:

Meeting today after school in Rm 209

 

Yearbook:

Seniors should sign up for a time to create their senior sections, located on the bulletin board in the lobby outside the gym.

Spanish Club:

Spanish club Three King's celebration Mon. Jan. 7 after school.

 

French Club:

FBLA:

Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House.  Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in.  The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March.  Thank you for supporting this great cause!
