Guidance:
Congratulations to Nicole Derosia on her acceptance to MA College of Pharmacy and Health Science and to Pedro Perez on his acceptance to Johnson & Wales in Miami.
Attention Seniors: Lakes Region Community College will be holding an Open House on Wednesday, January 9th from 5-7pm. This is a great opportunity to learn about their degree programs and see what opportunities they offer.
Students interested in learning about careers in the culinary arts and would like to get more information from a representative from Lincoln Culinary Art Institute should sign up in the guidance office. The representative will be here on Thursday, January 17th at 10am.
The guidance department is looking for students who are interested in architecture, construction, timber frame building, historic preservationist, heavy equipment and engineering to participate on Friday, January 11th during 4th block at the Huot Tech Center Career Panel. Transportation will be provided, NO COST to attend. See Mrs. O'Connell in guidance to sign up and get a permission slip. Deadline to sign up will be Tuesday, Jan 8th.
ACT's:
Last day to register for Feb 9th ACT's is Friday, Jan 11th.
Drivers Education:
The next Drivers Ed class will begin on January 8th and will run until Feb. 21st. You must be 16 by the last class. Classes are each Tues. & Thurs. from 6:00-8:00PM. If you are interested in signing up please pick up a form in the main office. Please note a deposit of $150 is due when you pass in your paperwork.

Math Team:
Math Team members planning to participate in next Wednesday's math meet need to sign up in Room 112 ASAP.
National English Honor Society:
There are still a few copies of our first book group selection, A DEATH IN THE FAMILY available in the library. Get your copy or get on the waiting list so that you've plunged into the domestic suspense before we meet to discuss it sometime the week of January 14. Get cracking!
Yearbook:
Seniors should sign up for a time to create their senior sections, located on the bulletin board in the lobby outside the gym.

FBLA:
IMPORTANT MEETING - Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 9th at 2:20pm in Mr. Hill's room. Students must be in attendance if you wish to attend the State Leadership Conference in March.
Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House. Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in. The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March. Thank you for supporting this great cause!
