BG Hockey Night at Patricks:

We will be having a Belmont Gilford Hockey Night at Patricks Pub and Eatery in Gilford on Sunday January 13th from 5pm to 9pm. Everyone is welcome to join. Let Patricks staff know you are with Belmont Gilford Hockey and half of the proceeds will go to the team..

 

Guidance:

Congratulations to Jeremy D'Amour on his acceptance to the University of Southern Maine.

 

Attention Seniors: Manchester Community College will be holding an OPEN HOUSE tomorrow 4-7PM. If you apply for admission at the open house they will waive the application fee. This is a great opportunity to meet with admissions, take a tour and learn about financial aid.

 

Attention Seniors: Lakes Region Community College will be holding an Open House tonight from 5-7PM. This is a great opportunity to learn about their degree programs and see what opportunities they offer.

 

Students interested in learning about careers in the culinary arts and would like to get more information from a representative from Lincoln Culinary Art Institute should sign up in the guidance office.  The representative will be here on Thursday, January 17th at 10am.

 

The guidance department is looking for students who are interested in architecture, construction, timber frame building, historic preservationist, heavy equipment and engineering to participate on Friday, January 11th during 4th block at the Huot Tech Center Career Panel. Transportation will be provided, NO COST to attend. See Mrs. O'Connell in guidance to sign up and get a permission slip. Deadline to sign up is today.

ACT's:

Last day to register for Feb 9th ACT's is Friday, Jan 11th.

 

Clubs:

Yearbook:

Attention Seniors!  You must complete your senior section for the yearbook before January 18th.  Failure to do so will result in a yearbook staff member creating and submitting a generic one for you.  Once the page is submitted, it can't be taken back or redone.  Please come to room 106 during lunch (you may not miss class to do this) and a yearbook staff member will assist you. If you can't make it during this time allotment, you must see a yearbook staff member or Ms. Pitrone to make alternate arrangements to complete prior to the deadline.

 

All Things Graphics:

Todays  meeting will have Shannon and Austin showing us how to use
the Nikon cameras to create movies I hope you all can attend.

 

Drama Club:

FBLA:

 IMPORTANT MEETING - Our next meeting will be held today in Rm 211.Students must be in attendance if you wish to attend the State Leadership Conference in March.

 

Can tabs - FBLA will be collecting can tabs throughout the year for David's House.  Students are asking families to set up a collection bag or box at home and periodically bring them in.  The can tabs will be delivered to David's House at the end of March.  Thank you for supporting this great cause!
