Drivers Education:

Summer Drivers Ed will start 7/14, but the class will be very limited and the deadline to sign up with your $150.00 deposit will be May 29th.


PROM:

Any students who have not yet bought their prom tickets can see Ms. Haubrich in her office.

There will be a meeting for all students who plan to attend prom on Wednesday, April 15th in the gym during Power Hour. .


Seniors
"There will be a very important meeting for all seniors going on the Florida trip on Monday at 11am during Power Hour in Ms.Tardugno's room."


Yearbook:

If you would like to buy a yearbook, you're running out of time and we're running out of copies! See Mrs. Hamilton in Room 206, email her at khamilton@sau80.org, or go directly to Josten's website to place your order.

 

Guidance:

The Laconia Elks Lodge is seeking youths to attend Copper Cannon Camp the only completely free summer camp for children of NH. The camp is open to youths between the ages of 9 and 16. To qualify for this opportunity, the student must qualify for our schools free lunch program.  Please visit www.coppercannon.org for additional information and application forms. Camp will take place the week of June 28- July 4, 2015.


Attention Juniors! The NHHEAF (NH Higher Education Assistance Foundation) is offering TWO FREE SAT PREP CLASSES!  NHHEAF is located at 3 Barrell Court in Concord. The first class will be held on Monday, July 27th and Tuesday, July 28th from 2-4:30pm both afternoons,  you must attend both sessions!! The next FREE class will be held on Monday, August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th from 2-4:30pm both afternoons, you must attend both sessions!!  Space is limited to the first 25 students who register. Easter Seals Camp Sno-Mo is an overnight residential camp serving children and youth with special needs and has been in operation for over forty years. Camp Sno-Mo is a fully inclusive program that is an co-ed facility with a fully accessible lodge building and camp site. Camp Sno-Mo is running several summer sessions starting June 28 through August 21st. More information and registration materials can be found at www.easterseals.com/nh.  Flyers with additional information are available in the guidance office.  Financial assistance available on a case by case basis. 

 

Students in the Class of 2016 who are interested in obtaining Service Academy Nominations from the NH Congressional delegation should attend the 2015 NH Military Service Academy Day on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 9am-11:30am at the NH National Guard Headquarters, Building#1. Interested students should see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance for additional details and RSVP information.

Student Council

"The Student Council is continuing to hold sign-ups for the Spring Fling Sumo Wrestling Tournament in the lobby during power hour. To reserve your spot in the competition, you must pay the $7 admission in advanced by this Friday. Please go to the lobby to sign up for the Sumo Wrestling Tournament if you are interested."


BHS PTO

REMINDER - 
It Takes a Village Series  - 
Teen Drug Experimentation & Addiction Workshop 

Belmont High School PTO is excited to continue our series of "It Takes a Village" workshops for Lakes Region students and parents.  On Wednesday, April 15, we will have several amazing partners presenting information on Teen Drug Experimentation and Addictions.  This event is free and open to the public – Parents and Students of the Lakes Region!  It will be held in the Belmont High School cafeteria (255 Seavey Rd., Belmont) from 6:30 – 8:30 pm Refreshments will be served. 

Get a realistic understanding of the challenges our kids face and how we can support them by creating awareness in our communities.

Our guest speakers include Steven Steiner, who founded "Dads and Moms Against Drug Dealers"; Jennifer Parker is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor at Phoenix House, a local treatment center; Officer Evan Boulanger is a Senior Patrolman, K-9 Handler, and Belmont Police department's Drug Recognition Expert.
