Varsity Softball away @ Farmington 4:00PM bus departs @ 1:30PM- athletes dismissed @ 1:20PM

 

SATURDAY:

Track & Field away @ Merrimack Valley 10:00AM- bus departs @ 8:30AM.

 

Girls Softball:

The girls softball team defeated  Winnisquam 6-0 behind the strong pitching of Megan Prescott. Prescott had 6 strike outs and no walks while allowing only 2 hits. She had strong defense behind her with no errors on the day. Nicole Antonucci had three hits, while Courtney Clairmont had two and Cassie Contigiani, Shannon Davies, Megan Sargent, Kylie O'Oconnell, each had one.

 

BHS  Girls Lacrosse:

Is hosting a Dough Raiser at Uno's in Tilton tonight. Plan to dine at the restaurant anytime that day and support the team with up to 20% of sales going to the girls! The team will be there at dinner time selling raffles as well. Print out the attached tickets or show them to your server on your phone and the team will get credit for your meal. Thank you in advance for

your support.

Golf Tourney:

A reminder to register for the Belmont Athletics Golf Tournament being held at Loudon Country Club on June 29th! Attached find an informational flyer and Team Registration form! Italian Dinner Fundraiser:

BHS & CES will be hosting an Italian Dinner Fundraiser next month to help raise funds to purchase a scoreboard for the BHS lover soccer field. The event will be held at BHS on Wed. May 7th @5:30PM and at CES on Wed. May 14th @ 5:30PM. Cost of admission is $5 per adult and $3 for students & seniors. Advanced tickets are available to purchase at the SAU Office, 58 School St. in Belmont.


Student Council Spring Fling

Will be sponsoring the Sumo Showdown tonight from 7- 9:30PM. Price of admission is $7 includes sumo wrestling and dancing.

Blood Drive:

There will be an American Red Cross blood drive at BHS on Wednesday, May 13th. Students aged 16 and over are able to sign up and donate blood.(16 year olds just need a consent form). Please see Ms. Haubrich as soon as possible to sign up for a time slot. Also, please talk it up at home, and encourage friends and family members to donate! Thank you!

 

Drivers Education:

Summer Drivers Ed will start 7/14 and will go to 8/31 but the class will be very limited and the

deadline to sign up with your $150.00 deposit will be May 29th. Parent's night will be June 15th @ 6pm.

 

Dates for 2015/2016 have already been established. If you are interested in signing up for any dates especially the first fall class that will start on Sept 1st please come to the main office for a registration form.

 

PROM:

Any students who have not yet bought their prom tickets can see Ms. Haubrich in her office.

 

Prom- goers, please see committee members during power hour to make your seating requests.

 

Class of 2018:

Any senior going into the field of education as a career can compete for a book award sponsored by the Shaker Regional Education Association. See Ms. Angwin for details.

 

Yearbook:

If you would like to buy a yearbook, you're running out of time and we're running out of copies! See Mrs. Hamilton in Room 206, email her at khamilton@sau80.org, or go directly to Josten's

website to place your order.

 

Guidance:

Students in the Class of 2016 who are interested in obtaining Service Academy Nominationsfrom the NH Congressional delegation should attend the 2015 NH Military Service Academy Day on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 9am-11:30am at the NH National Guard Headquarters,Building#1. Interested students should see Mrs. O'Connell in guidance for additional details and RSVP information.

Spanish Club:

Do you ever wonder why there are so many fund raisers? We try to help kids fund as much of their trip costs as they can. We will be traveling to Costa Rica in the fall.
