College Acceptance:

Congratulations to Ashley Fenimore on her acceptance to UNH


Baseball:
Thursday 4/2 JV: 4:30 – 6:00 Varsity 6:00 – 7:30ish

Drivers Education:

The next driver's ed class starts on May 5th and will run until June 18th. Please note you must be 16 by the end of the class. Parent Meeting will be on May 4th. If you are interested in signing up please come to the main office for a form. The deposit of $150 is due by April 10th with the remaining balance due on the first class May 4th.


Band:

"Please join the BHS Band as they host the annual Spring Cabaret today Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria.  Breakfast for Dinner is the meal accompanying this year's night of entertainment.  Tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $8 for adults.  Please support this extraordinary group of students, enjoy top notch music and a great meal this Thursday night!"


PROM:

Prom will be held on Saturday, 5/16 from 6-11pm at Gunstock. Tickets ($50 per person) will be on sale this week during Power Hour.  If you are at the Huot Center during Power Hour, please see Ms. Haubrich for ticket purchases. Checks can be made payable to BHS. 


Friday, April 10th will be the last day to purchase prom tickets.  Tickets will be on sale this week during Power Hour in the lobby and after that in Guidance by seeing Ms. Haubrich.  If you are bringing a guest, please pick up a form in the main office and return it by Friday, April 24th.  If you have any concerns with meeting these deadlines, please see Ms. Haubrich before the deadline dates.


Guidance:

LRGHealthcare is kicking off the annual Caring Student Intern (CSI) Program which will take place this summer. Two sessions will be offered, one in July and one in August. Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce is presenting a JOB FAIR! Wednesday, April 8th from NOON to 4pm at the Margate Resort, 76 Lake Street in Laconia. Stop & meet with local employers to discuss full-time, part-time or seasonal job opportunities including internships for high school and college students. See Mrs. Burke is guidance for more information.


Lakes Region Community College will be holding an Open House on Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 9am-noon. Undecided seniors might want to check out the 28 different degree programs they have to offer.

April 7th from 9:00am – 1:00pm for the NHTI - CRIMINAL JUSTICE DAY!  Lunch will be provided at no cost in the campus cafĂ©!   Permission slips available in Guidance.

3. Summer Youth Job/Internship FAIR - Students looking for an internship or a job (P/T, F/T, or Seasonal), please pick up a permission slip in Guidance to attend the fair and sign up for any additional Career Services (Mock Interviewing, Resume Writing, How to Fill out an Application, etc.) from Mrs. Burke!

4. Summer Camp Opportunities are rolling in…stop by guidance to see what is available!

5. Taco Bell in Laconia is hiring…stop by guidance if you are 16yrs. or older to pick up and fill out a job application!

6. Empire Beauty in Laconia is having an Expo on Saturday, April 11th from

FBLA

Congratulations to the BHS FBLA for another successful year at the Spring Leadership Conference. Members competed on Tuesday and Wednesday, to be named one of the top three chapters in NH! In addition BHS won awards for our fundraising efforts, scrapbook, and continued support of local charities. Way to go BHS FBLA!!
