Dear Class of 2017 Students, Parents, and Guardians,
This Wednesday, March 2, all juniors in the state of NH will be taking the SAT test as the 2016 statewide assessment.
Belmont HS juniors will be testing off-site to ensure a quiet and distraction-free testing environment. Our colleagues at LRCC have offered a wonderful testing space for our students in their new student center's lecture hall. BHS administration and faculty will be accompanying students and administering the SAT.
We will be transporting all juniors via school bus to and from LRCC, leaving BHS at 7:45 and returning for lunch at BHS at 12:30.
Here's how you can help on testing day:
~Please make sure your student has a good breakfast!
~We will be providing snacks for students for the short break periods, probably including water and granola bars. If your student wants something more exciting or different (or has allergies), please feel free to send a snack of your choice with your student to enjoy during the break.
~Students NEED to bring their calculator (we will have an emergency supply but they are so limited, please do not count on this option)
~Students need to bring pencils (again, we will have a limited supply)
