HERE'S WHAT'S NEW:
BHS PRINCIPAL: Please come join us in welcoming our new High School Principal, David Williams, for a Meet and Greet on Wednesday, April 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Belmont High School.
College Acceptances: Congratulations to Kyle Gelinas on his acceptance to Ithaca College.
BHS Chorus: There will be a chorus concert tonight in the gym at 7:00. Performers from BES, BMS, and BHS choruses will be presenting their programs, with an ending grand finale with everyone singing together. A fun time will be had by all, and all are invited to hear and see our Singers doing their best. (Mr. Lounsbury is particularly proud of his high school chorus and how well they are singing!) For further information please ask a chorus member.
Unified Basketball Assembly: There will be a school-wide assembly on Thursday, March 31st after Power Hour in the gym to honor the Unified Basketball Team. There will also be a unified basketball scrimmage.
Boy's Lacrosse: There is a parents meeting for Boy's Lacrosse TODAY, Wednesday, March 30th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria.
All Things Graphic: ATG will meet today in room 106 at 2:30 p.m.
Equality Alliance: Equality Alliance is hosting an informational presentation in the library Thursday March 31st at 6 p.m. Parents, students and faculty are all welcome to learn how to be a better ally. There will be light refreshments and a raffle. Thank You.

Event Details: We welcome students, young adults, parents, grandparents and the public from all New Hampshire communities! Please come join us for a very special evening as we come together as a community to discuss the drug epidemic with experts from our town, the Lakes Region, and our state.

It was cancelled last year but this year it is game on! A plan is in the works for a team feed during our lunch break. The players will wear baseball pants and "warm ups" from last year. Players new to the team please wear red. Bring warm clothes, team jackets, and sweatshirts, as there will be some sitting around involved.

Robotics: Kelly Smart is hosting a Pampered Chef Catalog Fundraiser to raise funds for the BHS Robotics team, the Roboraiders. Cool Schools: Don't get to Steeplegate much? No problem, support us by going on their Facebook page and comment on the photo of our poster, Belmont gets 25 points for every comment that refers to your school, i.e. "Go Belmont"! April double points for stores that start with A-K the first half of the month, last half L-Z. Each dollar is awarded a point.
Raider Run: The annual Raider Run will be held on April 22nd this year!

Pennies for Patients: National Honor Society is kicking off a Pennies for Patients fundraiser! Your spare change can benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society! The LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. There are collection boxes in each classroom! Donations are counted by block 5/6 classes, so feel free to make this a healthy competition!! Thank you for your support!

Criminal Justice Day - April 1st @ NHTI - students will have the opportunity to hear from different law enforcement agencies to learn more about their careers and skills needed to be successful in this field. Junior boys: Attention boys of the junior class. The American Legion Dept. of NH will be holding their annual Boys State summer program from June 26th-July 1st, 2016, at Rivier University in Nashua, NH. This is an affordable educational program for boys completing their junior year of high school. The only cost is a non-refundable $50.00 application fee. GRANITE STATE GAMES TRYOUTS:
Coming this June the multi-sport competitive Granite State games for New Hampshire athletes. These games are a great opportunity to get extra training, work/meet different coaches, and get seen in front of college scouts and most of all to have fun! All events are open to incoming freshman (8th graders) – juniors (graduating 2017).
If you are interested in participating in the 2016 Granite State Games and have any questions please talk to Student Ambassadors Devin Poslusny, Chaz Hacking or Athletic Director Ms. Knolhoff. Also, here is the link:
