Dear Shaker Regional Families and Staff,
I am pleased to announce that a search committee composed of teachers, administrators, support staff, and parents has unanimously decided to move Mrs. Erin Chubb forward as the finalist for the Canterbury Elementary Principal position. The committee interviewed several candidates and decided that Mrs. Chubb is by far the best candidate for the position. She currently serves as the Associate Principal at Belmont Elementary School, a position she has held for the past three years. Prior to coming to Shaker Regional, Mrs. Chubb taught at the elementary level for several years in both urban and rural school settings. She is an exceptional school leader and will make a great addition to the Canterbury school community. I look forward to nominating Mrs. Chubb for the position at our next school board meeting on May 12th.
