Athletics
BHS Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Franklin 3:30pm
Class of 2016
will be selling car decals until Friday, October 17th. Please see Clorissa Roode or email Mr. Hill (bhill@sau80.org) to place an order. Large decals (e.g. Belmont Athletics, Belmont Band) are 8 inches by 3.5 inches and sell for $4, while smaller individual sport/activity decals (e.g. soccer ball, volleyball) are 2.5 inches in diameter and sell for $2. A proof of the decal is pictured, but the actual decals are white so they "pop" on your car windows.
FBLA
Today is the last day for the Change for CHaD fundraiser. Yesterday we surpassed the $300 mark, locking in Mr. Acquilano as our first administrator to receive a pie. Please consider donating to support our great cause which helps children and their families who are fighting life threatening illnesses. Every penny counts!

Ms. Angwin's block 5 is getting close, needing only $10 to meet their goal

As a reminder if we reach $500 as a school we can pie Mr. Clary... So please don't forget to donate any spare change you may have to this great cause... Keep up the good work BHS
Fall Leadership Workshop on October 9th - We will meet at BHS and board the bus at 7:00am sharp tomorrow morning for the Fall Leadership Workshop. Please make sure you are on time. You must be in business dress to board the bus and attend the conference. We will be back by 2:15pm. A light breakfast and a lunch will be served at the conference.
Dues of $20 are due this Friday. Checks should be made payable to BHS and can be given Mr. Hill, Colton Cadarette, or Nikolai Fernandez.

Juniors
Class of 2016 - If you registered for the Color Run, you should have received a message from Mr. Hill last night. Please follow the instructions in the email and keep your commitment. If you believe you registered but did not get the message, please email Mr. Hill at bhill@sau80.org. It is important that you register properly in order to get paid!
Senior Pictures
The deadline to submit senior pictures is fast approaching. Submit a disc or flash drive to Mrs. Hamilton BY Friday October 31st. Any photos turned in after this date will be charged a late fee.

Order forms are available through Mrs. Hamilton in Room 206 or click here to order your yearbook online.
Guidance
Juniors please sign up in the guidance office to take the PSAT test. The PSAT will take place at BHS on Wednesday, October 15th from 7:30-11am. The cost of the test is $14.00. All juniors and interested sophomores are encouraged to take the PSAT. The results of the PSAT helps students, parents and guidance counselors give the best advice on enhancing your scores for the all important SAT that should be taken in the spring. The $14.00 cost must be paid for by cash or a check made out to BHS. Students are asked to have the money with them on the morning of the exam, however, advanced payments are welcome and should be given to Mrs. O'Connell in the guidance office.
Interested juniors with their parents are invited to attend a regional information night for St. Paul's Advanced Studies Program for Summer of 2015
Thursday, Oct. 16th at 6:30pm at the Interlakes High School Library in Meredith
New England Service Academy Information Night will be held at the Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers, MA on Wed. 11/5/14 from 5-9:30pm.

Lakes Region Community College
Open House is on Wednesday, October 8 from 5-7 PM
Spelling Bee
The Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation is hosting their annual Spelling Bee on October 30th at 6:30. This fun and entertaining event takes place at Laconia High School. Seniors, see Ms. Haubrich to join a team and have some fun (costumes welcome!). This is a great opportunity to get yourself known to the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation people who will be awarding college scholarships in the Spring!
Fitness Room
The fitness room will be open this week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. From 2:25-3:15pm
Attention all current NEHS
NEHS and invited inductees to National English Honor Society: due to a number of conflicts, the induction ceremony has been changed to Monday, October 27. Please check your calendars and reschedule for 6pm on Monday, October 27
Math Team

There is a college info night tonight at Bow High School from 6:30-8:30pm
BHS Girls LAX Fundraiser
The fundraiser is for fold up chairs that will be personalized with Belmont Red Raiders; our sale is being extended to Wednesday October 15th and once orders are picked up the turnaround time is just about 2 weeks. The chairs are $25 each and checks can be made out to BHS Girls Lacrosse. Order forms and payment in full can be left in the office for us to pick up. When: Friday, November 7th from 9:00am – 2:00pm.

· The fee is $10 per student (scholarships are available)

· Sessions include: Planning for College, STEM College Courses and Careers in STEM
