Athletics

BHS Girls JV/V. Volleyball @Moultonboro BUS LEAVES 3:55pm Games: 5/630

 

There will be Girls Basketball Open Gym on Sunday from 5pm to 630pm. 

 

Facebook Contest

Please take two minutes and vote for Belmont High School to win the art grant that Meredith Village Savings Bank is currently offering.  The prize of $3,000 for our art program at the high school would be fantastic!  Please vote, and also ask your thousands of friends to vote for us as well.

FBLA

Please remember to talk with your parents and come to tomorrow's meeting ready to let Makayla or Kylie know what food item you will make for the Holiday Fair on November 8th.  We need homemade lunch items (e.g. mac and cheese, meatballs, soup, chowder, chili) that can be kept warm in crock pots please.  These items will be delivered to BHS on Saturday, November 8th between 7 and 8 am.  We also need several students who can bring in dollies on Friday, November 7th to help vendors move in and out.

For all students ... FBLA will continue to collect can tabs all year for David's House. You can drop them off in Rm 211 or pass into the main office. Thank you for your support!

Wellness Committee

The SRSD Wellness Committee is in need of 1-2 students who are willing to be part of the district Wellness group. The meetings will be held once a month at 3:30 in the SAU conference room. If you are interested in joining please see Ms. Lavallee.

 

Senior Pictures                                     

The deadline to submit senior pictures is fast approaching. Submit a disc or flash drive to Caitlyn Keville or Mrs. Hamilton BYOCTOBER 31st. Any photos turned in after this date will be charged a late fee.

Guidance

Reminder:

College Fair on Thursday 10/23 from 7:30-8:30am in the gymnasium. This fair is for juniors and seniors. Juniors and seniors will be called down after first block attendance has been taken.

 

Reminder: NHHEAF is presenting their second Student Athlete Night on Thursday, 10/23 at 6pm at Manchester's Derryfield School in the Performing Arts Studio. Important information to be shared for future college student athletes.

Northeastern University will be holding their annual "Women in Engineering" day on Friday, October 31st, from 9-3. This program is designed for female students who are interested in learning more about their outstanding engineering program and meet some of their students. To reserve a place you must RSVP by October 20th by emailing r.reisberg@neu.edu, there is a 5 student limit per school.

What:  FIRST Women in Science and Technology Forum for High School Girls

Where:  UNH in Manchester

When:   Friday, November 7th from 9:00am – 2:00pm.

Details: 

·         The fee is $10 per student (scholarships are available)

·         Breakfast and Lunch will be included

·         Sessions include:  Planning for College, STEM College Courses and Careers in STEM

Just a reminder that we will be having picture re-takes this Thursday the 23rd.

 

Drivers Ed

Parent night is Monday October 27th. Mrs. LaPlante will be here by 5:30pm for students attending sports awards night.

 

 

Spanish Club

Mrs. Hampton will be showing a Spanish Club video the first half of power hour today for anyone that would like to join.
